So the main excuses Wilder gave for losing were the gloves and the Egg Weights. Yet Jay Deas, the man directly responsible for checking that, got a pass because he was inexperienced?

He got to keep his job but Mark Breland was the one who was fired? What kind of sense does that make?

And Russ Anber is a glove guy who makes gloves and knows everything about them...but he was let go from the team years back as well?

Wilder goes on about fairness .. then begs for the fight with home advantage for the third time. .. not so much a former world champion as a former Alabama champion.
Could you imagine how bad he'd get beaten outside the States?

And Wilder was the one claiming that a real champ had to travel. But he's so twisted, he went on like he's done it a bunch of times without doing it once.

Breland is universally well regarded and will not suffer because he was fired by Wilder... There is also no shame in giving someone a pass... No. Mark Breland got fired because he threw in the towel. Every employee on Wilder's team was warned not to do that. Breland did it anyway and was immediately let go. Jay Deas may have missed something during the wrapping, so a more experienced person, Russ Anber, was hired to do a more thorough job.

In both cases, the wrapping and padding were witnessed by the boxing commissions, but caught by the opposing team. Cotto wasn't so lucky, but he gave Margarito a serious beating in the rematch.

Wilder's bumbling doesn't represent America. That's why a lot of us criticize him and expect a higher standard for how he should handle his loss with less excuses.

Hes selling a fight. The only boxer that I look up to is Ali... and not because of his fighting skills. IMO it was incredibly brave and simple to refuse to shoot at others in a foreign land defying the government. The rest of these guys? I don't really think much about their moral compass.
