He did, I actually made a thread saying he b****ed out of both the Haney and Fortuna fights, but that doesn’t change the fact he has far more potential than Haney. I’d be rooting for Haney but I’d confidently pick the insta sl** to knock him out.

I completely agree… I don’t see anything special about him. He’s not even that good technically.

Feather fisted guy for sure. He went for the kill with Linares and failed MISERABLY and had to hug it out for 6 minutes just to see the end bell. Haney is disappointing to say the least.

Haven't seen the Linares fight yet but I've never been especially impressed with him. Good fighter but not special, no. Having said that he is young though so he might develop into something special. Lets see how he progresses as he gains more experience against quality opposition.

I think the whole light weight division is over hyped. I think Teo and Tank are the only ones that still have potential. However tank is to chicken sht to make a real fight.

Getting buzzed by Linares is better than being dropped by Campbell. I do agree that Teo and Tank bear him though.
Difference is Garia may have been dropped, and dropped hard, but he got up composed himself, fought on and KO’d his guy two rounds later.

Haney gets clipped, does the stanky leg back to his corner and two rounds later he’s still holding on for dear life to make it to the final bell.

At least the 135 version of AB actually looked impressive whilst people were hyping him up as the future of the sport.

There’s no way in hell this kid could hang with Teofimo or Tank. Even Ryan Garcia walks through him IMO.
Their is also a lack of GREAT boxing assessment skills from u but I guess nobodies perfect huh?

Haney is 22. He hasn’t had a chance to prove himself yet. Its preposterous to write him off this early.

Sadly, too many fans only get excited if a dude is getting ko after ko.

He obviously needs work but his attributes , speed and athleticism give him a chance to be really good.

True, since when does this make a guy bad? Yes he had to hold on, it’s boxing. He got caught.

One punch means we wrote him off?

I personally thought he boxed beautifully for much of the fight. He’s highly skilled and I’m happy he’s part of the division. I like all the guys at that weight especially as they have nice contrasting styles.

                      I love boxing !
