I wouldn’t blame him if he does after their respective fights. Fury would fight him IMHO, Wilder wouldn’t, he already admitted to taking less to fight Fury rather than shoot for the undisputed fight for more money against Joshua. He said it himself not me or you.

And if Wilder wins against Fury then we can kiss that undisputed fight good bye, the only way we would see the undisputed fight is if Fury wins and he takes on the AJ/Usyk winner, if Wilder wins and AJ wins then hopefully he can give the belts to PBC fighters, that way PBC can match their fighters with Wilder. So we can get an undisputed HW champ.

Top guys aren’t ever going to a purse bid.
If both fighters want the fight I don’t see a point of the WBO having such a hard deadline. He vacates then they get their sanctioning fee off of a much smaller purse if Usyk fights someone else.

Hearn has done a great job talking Usyk up and now he's trying to tell him he's not really worth what he has previously told him he was ...............young Edward will not allow Joshua to vacate as it would take a big chunk out of a Fury v Joshua fight should they win their next bouts.

I agree with the OP on this one, it does make sense that he wouldn’t want to lose a purse bid in his last contracted fight with Joshua, that isn’t a good look at all and may influence Joshua’s decision on who to sign with or if he wants to be a free agent

The message they're trying to put out isn't they're trying to duck Usyk. What he's trying to put out there is that they want it to be perceived that they have options and don't need Usyk. "Take the fight for X amount of money, agree to the rematch clause or we'll move on".

The fight Hearn is saying might not get made will be. The fight that wasn't that we kept hearing was going to be "announced next week" wasn't. Public negotiations are annoying.

Disagree with most posts in here. Hearn is angry at having made so much effort for the Wilder fight and their side mucking it up. Understandably. But then, maybe he shouldn't have just entirely taken their word on the arbitration.

Feels like he's taking it out on team Usyk here. He'd have to fight him sooner or later anyway. The big pay check has just be postponed that's all.

Pay Usyk reasonable money. Get it done soon and fight soon. Just like for all the justifiable criticism Fury is fighting soon. Too much squabbling and inactivity here.

Undisputed and Undefeated, are two words that mean so much, in the proper context, and mean so little, when taken out of context. Josh Taylor's undisputed is better than Teofimo's and Bud's because of who he beat to get it! Beating Pulev and Usyk is not on that level either! Joshua should choose the best fight, even if it's not his mandatory! I just don't see who is a better option than Usyk?

Usyk was always going to be next. Eddy acts like this is coercion, but it's been there, in plain sight, like Wilder's rematch, all the time. Usyk has been mando for 2 years already. Eddy is up to no good, Usyk hasn't signed his soul over, yet.

Joshua's not vacating; He's fighting Usyk.
