If both fighters want the fight I don’t see a point of the WBO having such a hard deadline. He vacates then they get their sanctioning fee off of a much smaller purse if Usyk fights someone else.
Teo went to purse big and it worked out in his favor but then Arum pissed at Eddie for bidding and Arum then played Eddie like a puppet on the Wilder negotiations

Teo isn’t a PPV draw. He’s an ESPN fighter. I’m saying guys like AJ or Canelo making 30-50 million a fight. They don’t need a belt to do that and they’ll walk before a purse bid is called.

Who do people think Matchroom is going to lose a purse bid to though? They have the Sky/dazn money behind them, can't see Triller paying $40M for a Joshua fight, when by far most of the money will be coming from the UK.

"advanced to the point Hearn is confident that they'll come to an agreement soon." I mean it says they think the deal will be made, why is everyone saying its a duck?

Then, it's better if such people vacate instead of trying to hold the belts hostage. If a mandatory works his way to that position, he deserves the split pre-decided by the sanctioning body. That was what he was told when he decided to stick to this sanctioning body.

Champs can have their voluntary fights and do whatever they want, but no one should mess up with mandatories. Otherwise, it will become very boring. After all, they use the clout surrounding the belts to get to their position. So, they must abide by the rules.
