If anyone believes that Haney would fight Lopez like he did Linares is wrong. Haney won't make the same mistake of standing in the pocket and exchanging and trading punches with Teofimo. No, he will simply out box him from the outside with jabs and combination punches. Which is why I tend to favor Haney in this match up. I just think that he is the more complete and fundamentally sound of the two fighters.

Then, that might be Teofimo's next fight.

I mean its boxing...anything can happen on any night, but Josh couldn't even finish off JCR. I'd take him not being able to stop/hurt Teo 100%. Teo gots much better movement than JCR. I think Teo will be smarter with the clinches & if he gets Josh feeling it to the body he'll stay on that sh^t.

Regardless of who wins, its a fun ass fight so I'd just like to see it get made & then we can talk about what could happen.

Yea I don't see Teo vs Haney happening unless Haney is free from DAZN after this Linares fight & he can sign with TR. And as far as I know thats not the case.

And the second bolded part is the biggest problem with TR. Once you become a name guy who commands bigger money its almost like you gotta fight with TR for your pay & the fights that are worth a damn for your career/legacy.

I really can't see why Arum & Lopez wouldn't want this fight, £ddie's stated that DAZN would take a backward step, so here's Teo's oppertunity to prove he's #1 @ 135Lb & put an end to all the questions & Bob's chance to make easy money!

I think this is a total smoke screen comment from Hearn. Haney would get mauled by Teo and Hearn knows it.

Haney isn’t beating Teo right now.

Lopez needs to forget about Taylor, Taylor is too big and too intelligent for him.
Plus I think Taylor will want to defend his titles once against Catterall in Scotland, in front of his home fans and then move up a weight, he wants to test himself against the very best and that will be against Crawford.

Lopez vs Haney is a great fight, lets see who is the best lightweight.
