I usually do not believe Eddie Hearn but he is right, Josh Taylor has no drawing power in America and he does not even fight in Scotland -- I don't even think the Brits know who Josh Taylor is, in spite of the fact that he has been fighting in their country.

If they do fight, it won't be pretty. Lopez is 10 x the fighter Linares is. Does anyone really believe Haney will be as effective as he was against Linares ? Does anyone believe Lopez will not move his head and absorb those jabs? I've analyzed both fighters thoroughly. This is a mismatch. Lopez is a monster lightweight. Hits way harder , has way more skill than Linares . Lopez KO 7 . This fight will be avoided by Haney and his people at all costs. Right now we're just hearing bravado from a blowhard. This fight won't happen if Haney has no say in who he fights. If Haney wants it , it might happen. But even that's doubtful. His handlers , unless they are blind, know Haney doesn't have a prayer against Lopez.

I wonder how he knows what fighters from other promotions and outfits are making of he was surprised by the home that Charlo had when he showed him. And it makes you ask if that’s truly the case, if he can pay all these fighters more, why didn’t more boxers sign with him when he came to the USA.....Spence, Wilder, Crawford, the Charlos, Russell, etc etc

I would much rather Lopez move up and challenge Taylor for the undisputed crown. It's more significant and he could always face Haney later down the road. But in all honesty, Taylor's going to be busy taking a mandatory and that'll probably keep him occupied for the 6-12 months because of the rest in between fights. Lopez could very well decide to face Haney in the interim but it would be a risky choice for both fighters.
