Get’s iffy from here. Green Canelo, Jesus Chavez, I find it very difficult to rate Corrales high since I know he was dead from the weight. Judah was a good win too, I’d put around with beating Maidana at 37.

    I’ll say:

5.Jesus Chavez, He was a solid (and crazy) fighter.
Just really hard for me to rate those first 3 wins. At the lighter weights Floyd wasn't as choosy and was quite dominant. But everything after that has always been hard for me to evaluate.

I have no issues with this. Mosely just beat the guy Floyd was supposed to be ducking when he fought him. That was a good win too.

Serious question - when you see a list like that, you don't feel the need to say 'Yeah but, Canelo was etc etc'?

In good faith I can't look at a list like that and not in my head point out the obvious - that none of those guys were the best version/prime/best weight combos of themselves. The JMM one at 5 is especially hard to try to argue in support of

All great fighters Floyd schooled who went onto do great things thereafter

              Corrales

not a great fighter but Floyd dominated him.

Cotto. ODLH and Mosley are greater than Cotto but neither did much after Floyd beat them

                1. Oscar De La Hoya - best weight for him at the time. He was slightly past it but Oscar had every advantage in the book and Floyd still won. It was also Floyd's first time fighting at 154 and he fought the #1 guy in the division, weighing 150 lbs.
                2. Manny Pacquiao - still past it but good enough where he would later pick up some great wins in his career
                3. Mosley - Lineal champ at 147, last fight was him beating Margarito, the guy Floyd supposedly ducked.
                4. Miguel cotto - A weight where he was less chinny. Great fighter and would later become lineal champ at 160 and gave Canelo hell.
                5. Canelo - wasn't the best Canelo we've seen but Canelo has been undefeated since then. The catchweight does make a dent tho.

                    Not in a particular order.

                    Corrales
                    Canelo
                    ODH
                    Paquiao
                    Cotto

We all know Pacquiao was far from his best and still fought with an injured shoulder so it wasn't that great.

Canelo even though was a champion still was very green at 22 or 23 yrs just like Haney yesterday. Not that much of a credit to be given.

ODH wasn't trained by Floyd Sr who priced himself out. He still did good for as long he had a gas tank to throw the jab but came up short after the 10th. I had 115-113 Oscar but it wasn't a robbery as JLC I.

Cotto was far from his prime but it was a decent win.

Corrales is by far his best win.

Honorable mention to the japanese midget with 0 pro fights in boxing he beat and the future hall of fame youtuber he will fight in a couple of weeks.
