All I know is, Eddie is a lying, cheating scumbag who always has a trick up his sleave to trick someone, usually the matchroom casuals.
Everyone knew about the arbitration yet Eddie kept announcing the fight every other day for months.

win or lose he'll fight AJ because I don't think AJ will fight Wilder if he wins it just won't be for undisputed but still a big fight

I have a strange feeling this fight won’t happen. Fury is a very odd character and most of all he is stubborn. He will cook up some very odd situation and end up not fighting. I can def see them dumping the belt, which won’t stop the contract for the fight but will mean the contest has less meaning. Next he will do something strange, it could be as simple as an injury claim or going in and making it a no contest or not getting a visa, it’ll be something obscure.

It's unfortunate that it played out the way it did, but really most of the blame has to lie with Arum who was (a) privy to the full details of the contract terms and mediation (b) a lawyer and (c) loudly saying the mediation was no problem whatsoever.
At any point when Hearn was saying we're close, Arum (or Warren) could have said 'Of course, we have to wait for the mediation and it might still be a problem.' They never once said this. They doubted the money was there. They said they needed a binding contract. They doubted the dates worked with the Olympics. They wanted to fight sooner rather than later.

This doesn't make any sense.
The decision wasn't clear. Or at least, I hope it wasn't because if it was Warren should not have allowed the Fury AJ deal to go as far as it did.
The fact that an appeal to arbitration was clear certainly. A no-lose move by Wilder even if there were no credible grounds.
"...we were awaiting the outcome of it." That is highly misleading. He was on Fury's team and went along with ignoring the possibility of losing the arbitration, presumably because he (like Arum) thought if was very unlikely to succeed. But if he (and/or Arum) thought there was likelihood of success they shouldn't have proceeded the way they did with AJ/Hearn. At the very least that is negotiating in bad faith when you have access to information that can scupper the deal you are committing too.
"Everyone knew what was happening." Again highly misleading. The Fury team (Arum AND Warren) had sight of the contract between Wilder and Fury) and they were party to all of the arbitration proceedings. So they were in a position to take an informed view. Hearn had access to neither of these. All he had to inform him was what the Fury team told him about the arbitration. And as they continued to negotiate the AJ/Fury deal he obviously took his lead from them in this.
Basically it seems that Arum and Warren acted in bad faith. And this makes sense of what was otherwise puzzling behavior. Why were they constantly talking down the possibility of Hearn getting the deal done? Now it makes sense. They were hoping that they could delay signing the deal until they got the result of the arbitration. That way Hearn does all the work and once the arbitration rules in their favor they just sign. But they obviously had concerns about the arbitration which is why they didn't get the deal done more quickly, constantly dragging their feet, saying it wouldn't happen, that Hearn couldn't deliver etc etc. They weren't straight with him about the risk.
They misled Hearn so no wonder he's pissed. And now Warren is trying to make out that everyone knew all along that this could well happen. But that is obvious BS because if Hearn had known that, if they had been straight with him, he would never have moved heaven and earth to get the deal done.
Bad faith and now they are covering up. Dirty business.
You ever want to know if a self defense technique works... take your buddy, agree to set up resistance and try it! simple...yet people complicate things so much.
you want to know about what Fast Eddie did? Ok... So you are a promoter, you are working on a deal involving millions of dollars. You will no doubt have lawyers around, people to keep an eye on different facets of the agreement, in touch with groups putting money down etc. Your lawyers will try to call people involved with the arbitration, etc.
OR... Your in charge of a multimillion dollar contract about 1/4th the size of Califonia's Gross Domestic Product AND... you simply ask your good buddy Satanic Bob Arum, who is representing other interests (Fury), the possibilities regarding something that could potentially derail the whole deal.
Anyone who thinks the following below deserves to have to take free legal advice from Redeemer and Robby Barrett:
1) Fast Eddy had no previous knowledge about the potential effect of the arbitration, relying totally on Arum
2) There was a magic "get out of the contract free" clause not exersized by Arum
