Except Usyk isn’t signed to Matchroom anymore.

And it would 100% be a duck. You don't face 100% of your mandatories when they're Takam, Povetkin and Pulev (all north of 37) and then drop the title the first time a mover comes along.
Lol fkking I phones let me say Usyk 1st time, changed it to Austin 2nd time and now trying to change it to Australia.

we will have to see what happens, obviously I’m not going to agree that Joshua has only been interested in facing easy touches and has run from the 1st prime mando put in front of him but I will agree it’s a duck. I just can’t see an alternative fight that would make me say "ahhh now it makes sense”.

I'd be disappointed because that would be the end of an opportunity to crown an a Undisputed champion. We've had a spell of a few years where it seemed possible, and that was all down to AJ unifying and keeping hold of multiple belts.

You probably do get to a point where you give up on it and instead focus on making the biggest fights with the best return while not being held to ransom over belts.

Let's see what happens. What I do know is that if AJ is negotiating with Usyk, then it makes perfect sense to appear to be serious about dropping the belt.

Had me worried there. I didn't know if he was gonna drop the belt for the Heavyweight equivalent of Bivol/Richards

I reckon Whyte would be a bigger fight, bigger money, and a bigger share to AJ.

It would still be a duck, but I could make sense of it.

And I agree with you, Joshua has been more than willing in the past to take the hard fights. He hasn't ducked anything.

Even the most game fighter eventually gets to a point in their career where they get selective.

Not a good look for someone supposedly hellbent on being undisputed.

Obviously i can’t say for sure, It’s not my information. It’s the same source that told me Saunders was leaving Warren for Eddie Hearn about a week before it was public knowledge or announced. I posted it on here at the time.
I’ve heard the same tbh man.

Joshua-Whyte in September I’ve also heard.

I dont think he will. Usyk is an easy fight why give up one belt when you are WBC belt away from being undisputed

You make me laugh as well, the same guys who picked BJS to beat Canelo. Ooh yes, hes gonna outbox him, are saying Usyk is some master boxer who will beat AJ.

We'll see after the fight, you can comment back to me, Oh look AJ beat a guy who has NO POWER. Did I mention Usyk has NO P O W E R? The boy didnt have much power in the ghostland division, and went life and death in his HW fights with Chisora and Chazz Witheredspoon. Come on man. Usyk is just another hyped up late-starter eastern european fighter, like Lomachenko and their like.
