Don't know why they would duck him. A big good fighter beats a good small fighter. The last thing they need is Usyk wins the title and then Fury wants to fight him instead of AJ.

        I dont believe it tbh.

In the MASSIVE unlikelihood that it's true then Joshua is a fraud and as much of a hypejob as I suspected he was.

However I don't think they'll vacate. I actually think they're in an awkward position. Usyk is a bit of a banana skin fight and there likely isn't a ton of money in it. But moving away from it will make Joshua look even less legitimate as champion.

We'll see after the fight, you can comment back to me, Oh look AJ beat a guy who has NO POWER. Did I mention Usyk has NO P O W E R? The boy didnt have much power in the ghostland division, and went life and death in his HW fights with Chisora and Chazz Witheredspoon. Come on man. Usyk is just another hyped up late-starter eastern european fighter, like Lomachenko and their like.
Power is not the be all and end all of boxing. Especially when considering the best in the division has spent a career being seen as pillow fisted.

KO ratios are what they are. He fought in the wasteland division and Fury also has a "high" KO ratio but as we all know, the man aint got no power. Talks about first round KOs and never delivers.

I guess we can just wait and see how Usyk loses, as per my casual opinion

Probably looking like a deal wasn’t going to get made quickly and no way AJ KF Hearn allow a purse bid to happen.
WBO belt isn’t relevant anyway. These sanctioning bodies live off their fee’s, why wouldn’t they want to continue to eat off AJ?
Like when the WBC tried to control Canelo. He told them to fk off and a year later they were begging him to acknowledge them.

All fights for AJ at this stage of his career are risky. he's either risking losing against one of the few top 10 heavyweights he hasn't beaten yet, or he's risking the backlash and future payday from fighting a "scrub" j(just like fury has just done). so dropping the belt because of "risky" usyk doesn't pass the smell test.

I do think there's a chance he drops the belt, but only because he's pissed with the process of trying to become undisputed. he's probably just done with the politics of it all. Eddie Hearn is trying to destroy the alphabet organizations anyway.

doesn't look like I'll have circle back to you, since Joshua is dropping the belt to avoid such a mismatch.

You casuals love to throw around the term "life and death" too. I guess it just means going 12 rounds?

HW is equally a wasteland division. The top 10 is arguably worse than the CW top 10.

Usyk clearly has some pop, that’s not even debatable.

How does losing relate to power also? If Usyk loses it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have power, so why bring that up? Earnie Shavers consistently lost for world titles. You gonna tell me he couldn’t punch either?
