He had no business getting up from those shots, so he showed me right then and there that he's different, that he wasn't just a slick boxer, but that he had character and guts. Then in the 2nd fight, he came forward and beat Wilder up. So if anything, it's hard for me to bet against Fury now, because he keeps raising his level and showing new dimensions to his game. He's still improving, so idk what his ceiling is. Now, Wilder looks good on the pads with Malik Scott, hooking and jabbing up and down, ducking and moving his head (basic boxing, finally!!), but can he do it in the ring with a big, agile, thinking man in front of him? And plus, honestly speaking, Malik was slick in his day but he couldn't make it out of the 1st round with Wilder and now he's gonna teach him something beneficial? A few skills, sure, but can Malik teach Wilder how to come back mentally from that severe asswhipping? That wasn't no little spanking, that was physical and mental destruction. He must have PTSD right now, playing that asswhipping over and over in his head like a tape and rubbing his hand over that dent when he looks in the mirror everyday. In the back of his head, he probably asks himself, " Am I truly the Bronze Bomber, or am I just another Marcellus Wilder?" He needs therapy, as much as he needs skills. And Shannon Briggs-- fight James Toney in the ring. Stop snapping on social media, fight for real. Ur from Brownsville never- ran- never- will, right?? So STOP running ur mouth and STOP running from James Toney. U chased Wladimir all over the Earth, but u ain't chasing Lights Out- you're running from him!! U can't be serious. Are you really gonna bring shame to Brownsville, like Running Rid**** ran from the great Lennox Lewis?
He didn’t take his power flush and no matter how many time you repeat it doesn’t make it true. Fury rolled with that right hand. I’ve seen it a dozen times slow mo, super slow mo. It wasn’t a flush shot. Had it been Fury would still be down for the count. He played theatrics as if he was rising from the dead.

Fury is going to need to be on it. Wilder has been given 18 months to mentally recover and train to win a 3rd fight and Fury has been partying.

I'm not a fan of this at all but it's the American boxing establishment in action. This fight should absoloutley be In Manchester and it shouldn't be in 8 weeks but it is what it is, Fury and Arum seem to love bending over for PBC and Haymon (I saw wilders name first on the poster... Wtf?) so if Fury isn't ready and gets, clocked it's their own fault.
I was just coming here to make a similar point. I was literally going to write that Wilder's chances would be between 1 or 2 knockouts if they ran through 10 fights. I'm going to say its more like 20% than 10%, just because he went close to getting the KO in the first fight.

Which is to say, Fury remains a strong favourite, though there is a smallish but not insubtantial risk of a knockout loss.

I think Wilder simply has to carry psychological scars from that first fight. Unless he has overhauled how he fights -- which seems unlikely though not impossible -- he is probably going to get a beat down again.

Wilder has knocked out or tko'ed no one special. Granted it's still impressive to have that many and everyone he has fought except fury, but as long as fury stays tall, doesn't show boat and dip all the time like in their first fight, wilder ain't knocking him out.

wilder knocks guys out with the power coming from this back and long punch he throws.. He also steps in like skips when he throws the right.. And they are always in a downward throw. He loses a ton of power trying to throw upward and that's why he wasn't successful against fury the 2nd time around. Fury knows this... Stand tall and pressure him.

The guy has a big right hand, but he doesn't hit harder than or as hard as Foreman, Mike Tyson, Lewis, Marciano and Shavers. His power is quite overrated, when you look at who he actually beat.
You’re trying to convince us a 230 lb hw knocking out men bigger than him doesn’t have the power of a fighter that weighed under 190 lbs?(marciano). Are u serious?

I think what we will probably see is Wilder doing a decent job, hence gaining back credability, but being outmatched by Fury... Provided Fury gets his two a s s es in gear! Itshard enough to get off one a s s, can you imagine two? These fights are wonderful because of the danger factor... Wilder can end it with one punch. But at the apex level Fury has to simply avoid the right hand of Wilder. That is a lot easier to do than fight a guy who has power in both hands, and/or who has maintained that power. I should qualify this last statement... what i mean is there are many fighters who were two handed and had excellent technique coming up, but became one handed fighters... Razor Rudock, Tommy Morrison for example.

If necessary, Wilders is willing to win on points. But If the KO presents itself? Of course Wilder will be willing to put him to sleep.

If Fury decides to lean all over Wilder again(?) with his patented rabbit punches and pad free glove? then of course Wilders chances at winning on points becomes slim to none.....

Wilders team has most likely advised him how to ‘cheat back’ this time around......This will be the very first time Fury will think he’s in a tank with another wild blood thirsty shark.....and that’s when Fury will turn into Guppy Fear, finally begging the ref for some much needed help.

All we need is a delivery system. All that defense **** is for morons. Why TF would you even try to make Wilder a man who can defend against Tyson? Just give him the tools to end the fight quickly and all those defensive gaps don't matter....again.

275 pound prime Fury can absorb any punch Wilder throws at him.

Fury is an immovable object that hits back.

yeah and Fury already showed twice that he can take Wilders best shot. Wilder is old news. Just another overated fighter with a padded record fed a steady diet of bums. BUMSQUAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
