1-Who is "everyone else" that you are talking about.

2-If Plant doesn't take the fight, he will be known for what he really is. As it stands, a fraction of that amount would still be Plant's biggest payday and are you telling me that Canelo's 3 belts mean nothing compared to Plant's single belt? He has already ducked a Canelo fight in the past, now he is talking bigger money than prior opponents with far more exposure.

Well are you aware of that IBF Super Middleweight title that Ginger wants? Well DAZN does not own that and Eddie Hearn of Matchroom USA Boxing does not own that either. Moreover, this isn't a mandatory bout. It's an undisputed one. So all roads lead back to Al Haymon.

Therefore, he could just as easily shut these negotiations down and do an in-house fight between his own fighters like a Plant/Benavidez or a Plant/Charlo for that IBF Super middleweight championship and cut Alvarez completely out of the picture. Then Canelo would never become the first Undisputed Mexican Super middleweight champion of the world.

The fact is the PBC has Canelo Alvarez by the balls and if he wants to do business then he would do so on their terms. That is if he still wants to keep his championship goals intact. if not then there will be no fight at all. It's just the way it is.

Luckily for Canelo Alvarez he gets it. Unfortunately, his fanboys do not.

didn't you read the article ?

Sergey Kovalev ($12 million), Daniel Jacobs ($12 million), Billy Joe Saunders ($8 million)

those three opponents got paid $32m between them... Plant would be a total fool to accept less than $10m, knowing that Canelo is desperate for his belt

why the hell should Plant accept less money than Danny Jacobs got paid ?

I don't even think that money will be an issue

Beautifully said! It's just like what I stated earlier; Canelo gets it but unfortunately his fanboys do not. It's just the way it is!

I am a Canelo fan... but I am a much bigger boxing fan

there is no reason why Canelo should not pay Plant just as well as he paid Jacobs/Saunders

I don't think that money will be a problem when making that fight

Dude, stfu with that Charla girl nonsense. Charla turned him down. The brother admitted it.

Charla had plenty of time to go up to 168.

And calling the Canelo fights at 168 cherrypicks, then what the hell do you call the Montiel fight you moron?

Don't ever come here calling Canelo out while trying to praise Charlo, when Chala is fighting an absolute can. Imbecile.

Fanboys don't get what exactly? That Plant will get paid? Ofcourse he's going to get paid. He'd be a damn fool to turn down that money.

There are other ways to get that belt, like becoming a mandatory, it would just take longer.

Hymen has nobody by the balls. They're not calling the shots. Hearn will be the lead promoter of the fight, Canelo will be A-side. Plant will take the money or be branded a coward for turning Canelo down.

And they took all their shows out there. Sportscenter, Mike and Mike, The Herd, and they would also broadcast the weigh ins. Now Canelo’s lucky to get a 2 minute snippet on Sportscenter.
ESPN lost all credibility when they named Bruce Jenner as woman of the year. I'm sure they lost it longer than that, but I never really watched. They never covered boxing, except for the big fights or when an American fighter was fighting, and now that Top Rank is there with the mostly black and white announcers and ex-boxers, none of them will ever acknowledge Canelo, especially with him not fighting for the network and promotional company.

ESPN is owned by Disney, which means if you're not black, gay, or a delusional man pretending to be a woman, you're not going to get any air time.

ESPN Latino covers Canelo plenty, but they're always hating on him. They're a bunch of sellouts.
