It’s a bigger fight on Fox than DAZN and that’s facts. It’s not arguable.

I know you’re into PBC’s printed crowd walls but even Harold Lederman would’ve thought of it as gay.

White Mexican needs to be a man and pay Caleb a living wage if he wants the opportunity to be undisputed.

I know you’re threatened by Al and the whole PBC but you don’t know sh.it about television in America. You can’t even admit the obvious so it’s hard to take you seriously. DAZN still might make a better offer. It all depends on how many resources PBC and DAZN are willing to put up.

Networks aside I still think Eddie is going to be the lead promoter. Canelo likes working with Eddie and I can see Canelo doing a deal that has Eddie Hearn as the lead promoter with PBC. It’s not impossible in my opinion.

Canelo just set the US indoor record for attendance at a boxing match.

FYI. Fighters don't pay each other so it is not up to Canelo to pay Plant or for Plant to pay Canelo. It is up to the promoters, or in old fashion terms, the impresario, to put together the financial package and present it to both fighters. In this case, it would be Hearn and whoever Al Haymon and the rest of Caleb Plant's team would choose as the promoter to put together a financial package. The simplest approach, in this case, is for both promoters to bid to promote the fight and the one with the best bid to be selected. As was pointed out, if PPV is the best approach, it becomes a simple case of dividing the percentage split. It is more nuanced than that, but those are the basics.

By the way, the "living wage" varies by state and family size but roughly speaking it is between $12/hr and 22/hr. I think Caleb Plant should get paid more than that for the punishment he is going to receive if he takes the fight. Besides why should fans care how much Plant or Canelo gets? It is not money in our pockets.

Of course, Canelo has lost a lot of shine. Anyone can see that 300,000 people would have attended if he had raised his profile. Anyway, some of these YouTubers who opine on boxing know that Errol Spence is the real face of boxing and not Canelo. Mayweather himself said that Tank Davis is the face of boxing so expect him to break all attendance records for his next fight.

It is not about which platform is "bigger" but rather about which pays the most. This is similar to why Las Vegas attracts the biggest fights that are then staged in smaller arenas. The casinos pony up a bunch of money on the side to outbid even the biggest stadiums. It is about the money!

Doesn’t seem totally unrealistic all things considered
