All due respect to Pac, but this is a consolation prize for fans patiently waiting for Crawford to fight Spence or any other meaningful unification.
Hopefully, after this something can be done. It's either that or Crawford moves up or down. Even in a four-belt era, there are many divisions moving closer to undisputed fights, which is great and what fans ultimately want - the best fighting the best.
I can't see Crawford staying where he is and dispatching mandatory's and journeyman until retirement; he's going to want to cash in with a big prize fight before then.
Anyway, I see Spence getting the win in probably what will be an intriguing matchup of two southpaws. Spence will likely be too big and rugged for the crafty but surely ready to retire legend.
