thats exactly my point, the fight was made at the right time financially speaking...
canelo was also coming from another very lucrative fight vs chavez 1mil ppvs, there was a lot more buzz for a ggg fight after that having that wwe type of scene after the chavez fight...
ggg in his previous ppv did less than 150k ppvs, so not like he was the hot one...

no need to spin, canelos 155 campaign vs 154 punders was before cotto, and at that time the fight to make was vs cotto not ggg...
again ggg made what 97k ppvs vs jacobs ? he wasnt that big when canelo was figthing the likes of angulo, lara or kirkland...
and ggg stepped aside to allow for canleo-cotto cuz that was the bigger fight and even he aknowledged by allowing it to happen...
canelo-ggg happened when there was more demand and the numbers back that up...

Face is not how you score a fight, funny all the same people scoring the Canelo GGG fight for Canelo because of GGG's face, they also say Dervy beat GGG even though Dervy's face was more busted up.

And Canelo fans can't have it both ways you say that he drained himself so hard to make 155 and that's why his power is so much better now, but if he was so weak at 155 then why was he draining himself there??? Why wasn't he fighting at 160 if his power was a million times better there???

Canelo was draining down like all fighters do,he was still young cashcow, didn't know then hed go on to rule at higher weights. He was at that division the same way Mell Charlo is at mw despite being giant af,if he moves up he'll become more powerful,common sense.

Yes, in professional boxing, middleweight is 155-160. 160 is the limit, you can weigh anywhere in that range. Again, I don’t see how this is difficult to comprehend.

Yes we should give Canelo every round possible, comrade. If he does anything at all positive in the round, we give it to him.

I don't hate on Canelo. He is a great fighter. I like him personally actually as well. I don't have pet names for him though, and I do think he is on some PEDs, still. I don't call other fighters little petty names either. I'm not a little girl.

he didn't try defending it there. If he did, he would have either A) fought at the middleweight limit or B) Fought somewhere between 155-160 and allowed his opponent to fight at the middleweight limit. instead he dropped the belt and fought Chavez at 164
