Frank Bruno would be doing really well is he was a prime HW these days.

Joshua is Frank Bruno/Michael Grant. He's way over hyped because he's got the muscled look in the time of social media and a weak HW era.

Whyte, Povetkin, Parker, Ruiz etc, all the guy does is fight champions and mandatories. Meanwhile....Fury, never defended a belt, has Wlad and the hype job from Alabama on his record, and that's the whole story. Other than to say he got dropped by Pajkic and Cunnigham (and Wilder), and beaten up by John McDermott and Otto Wallin. Most boxing observers can't tell when they're being sold something. The commentary is a clue folks, when you listen to Max Kellerman and those guys hyping a fighter like Wilder, turn the commentary off and watch it in silence. THAT is what a lot of avid fans of boxing do. If you can't see the politics and hype in boxing maybe you think the US election was stolen and covid is not real. God save us from people with their eyes closed.

            You casuals never learn.

Well, you will, when Fury destroys this hype job.

              Record: 4-1-0-0

I didn't include interim champions or "regular" champions for any of them, nor a guy like Frans Botha who was immediately stripped of his IBF heavyweight title for failing a drug test. Just full champions of the big 4, lineal champions, or Ring champions.

Looking at this list, Joshua's quality of opposition is paper thin compared to Bruno or Lewis. But ultimately Bruno was a one-win wonder, while Josuha backed it up. So he's closer to Bruno but still better. Neither guy is anywhere close to Lennox Lewis.
Obviously Joshua is closer to Lewis. It's not even really a question.

But Bruno's championship losses don't really tell the full story either. He was ahead against Smith, Witherspoon, Lewis (though for not as long) and obviously McCall who he beat. Only Tyson was obviously a level above in their fights.

He was very comfortably in the right company with the Champions of that era.

Neither. he’s a bit like Bruno when he gets caught though, he freezes up and doesn’t know what to do.

Fury actually had elements of Lewis in the Wilder rematch, especially in stance.

90s heavyweights were not any good, so who cares.

100 old Foreman was able to win a belt in glorified 90s, lol.

That’s a lie lol. The heavyweight division in the 90s was stacked compared to 2000s and 2010s...also arguably the 1980s which was dominated by Holmes and Tyson though

Also Foreman deserves credit for KOing Moore who was a pretty good boxer
