I don't understand why people use Frank Bruno as some measure for a bum. Go watch Bruno-Lewis and learn something.

TC probably looking at it from a stylistic perspective rather than looking down at Bruno. Fantastic fight btw.

A.J doesn’t really have much in common with Bruno other then a sharp strong jab .

What he has in common with Lewis is ability to throw crisp clean inside shots and able to gage an uppercut in a clinch though Lewis has several illegal shots and wins with holding and hit at the same time ,his win over Grant was a clear one . Also ability to end fights at any time . Bruno lost a lot of stem after mid rnds and he wasn’t a counter puncher ,Lewis and A.J are great at slipping shots without a high guard like Bruno so they can hit from more angles unlike a more narrow footed Bruno who would throw a double jab usually going in straight line , Lewis and A.J moved much more and had better feet .

I didn't include interim champions or "regular" champions for any of them, nor a guy like Frans Botha who was immediately stripped of his IBF heavyweight title for failing a drug test. Just full champions of the big 4, lineal champions, or Ring champions.

Looking at this list, Joshua's quality of opposition is paper thin compared to Bruno or Lewis. But ultimately Bruno was a one-win wonder, while Josuha backed it up. So he's closer to Bruno but still better. Neither guy is anywhere close to Lennox Lewis.

I agree, Frank Bruno only ever lost to champions and nobody? Had a easy night with him accept Mike Tyson during the rematch. When the going got tough, Bruno never just disappeared. Bone Crusher Smith & Witherspoon where in extremely tough fights with Frank Bruno.

Frank Bruno beats Derek Chisora, probably too technically good for Whyte also.

The version of Bruno who fought Lewis for me was his absolute peak.
