Ramirez a normal top 10 super lightweight and nothing more.

Gifted wins? No, both were competitive fights. Zepeda had a better case of winning but those were not "gifted" wins.

“There's nothing true in this post either.”

        Whoops.

I been about a fence riding fairy on this one. They both have things I really like about them and holes I think could be devastating to their chances against the right type of fighter, and, those right types are one another given Jose and Josh are as they seem; top notch.

So, I'll take Jose because he's more American and Latino......No disrespect to Scottish folk, I just ain't one and have no good reason to pick a side. Good being key there.

Taylor wasn’t some outstanding amateur, I think his biggest achievement was a commonwealth gold medal, which is nowhere hear Olympic, world championships or even Europeans levels.

His amateur record wasn’t that great either, which is why it was surprising he was matched hard early on, although he did turn pro a bit late.

still, I think the Postol is an impressive win after a dozen fights, especially when an older Postol just had a fight with Ramirez that could’ve gone either way. Taylor was the second fighter to beat him, after Crawford. And like I said, it’s not like Taylor was some outstanding Olympian like Loma and Rigo, he was largely unsuccessful in real international amateur tournaments.

How many amateur fights did he have? I actually think Postol's performance vs both Taylor/Ramirez showed just how good Crawford is as Postol fought well vs both of them.

Either way, Taylor is building a very solid resume. He has the build to go up to WW and compete there as well.

I'll take the mexican on american soil with robert garcia in his corner. Ramirez is probably getting some sparring rounds with vergil ortiz/mikey garcia...you cant get better sparring than that.

Ramirez TKO late. Brits always fold in the states.

Taylor. He already beat Prograis, the second best man in division. Ramirez is maybe N. 8.

I will go with Taylor, I just think he can win in more ways than Ramirez can and prefer his body of work. Both fought Postol and I thought Taylor handled him a bit better. Taylor has also beaten Baranchyk and Prograis (a very close fight). Ramirez beat Hooker but was fortunate to get the "W" versus Chon.
