I don't feel like I have seen enough tape of either guy to make a true pick, but I'm leaning towards Josh Taylor. If Ramirez can't hurt Taylor significantly I definitely have Taylor. But, I hope Ramirez knocks that fool out!

Taylor. I think Prograis was the tougher fight. Almost a forgone conclusion imo.

Ramirez did not impress me against Postol but Taylor has been largely inactive for a while. As someone said yesterday Taylor has proven he deals with pressure better than Ramirez has shown he deals with a boxer/mover. Leaning Taylor but nothing would surprise me these days. Could see a controversial decision for either guy too.

Taylor but Ramirez winning would not shock me. I dont think you can say he doesnt have a chance because he looked poor in the postol / Zepeda fights. that's not how boxing works. the odds are way off on this fight.

I'll put fivers on both fighters winning by KO between rounds 7 and 11.

However, my "pick of reason" would have to be Taylor.

If Taylor didn't leave anything behind in the Prograis fight he should be able to pull a decision. He simply has more gears and tools. Ramirez is no joke, he has stamina, mental fortitude and a good chin.

One of the fights I'm looking forward to most this year.... Unless fighting without the benefit of a home crowd effects him in some way I think Taylor got this though. Neither guy has any give in em but I think Taylor has both more spite and the better skill set.
