exactly. People who think he's some SMW George Forman just because he broke an orbital bone are way off. He hits hard enough to keep you honest, but he's not a power puncher. Had Lemieux landed on BJS he likely would have done more damage than Canelo did.

Theirs ALWAYS a weakness to exploit in ANYONE. Artur is 36 years old. Way past his prime. He has OVER a 100 ’fights under his belt. That weight class ISNT known as a hotbed for TALENTED FIGHTERS.
Smaller men are accustomed to fighting men with great boxing skills. Competition is more tuff in the lighter weights. I Think Canelo can beat Artur but HE MUST BOX HIM.
Artur is too BIG for him. I’m not sure if Canelo will be happy out- MAYWEATHERING Artur. He’s inclined to brawl and that’s the ONLY WAY Artur can win.

If Canelo believed that he would have fought him. He didn't and that tells you all you need to know. Beterbiev has to get knocked out a couple times and get older before Canelo considers fighting him.

Beterbiev is a beast, but he is stiff and slow. He doesn't have the name to demand a fight with Canelo yet, but I think a couple years down the road it will happen.

Yeah, he stopped BJS with a nasty injury so obviously, he's going to uppercut Beterbiev's head off to the moon and slam dunk it like a basketball in low gravity. Unsure if everyone is being serious in this thread lol, especially TerrenceBudCharlo but hey it's entertaining at least.

I think he has a better chance against Beterbiev than with Bivol who is his biggest threat imo.

I think your oversimplifying things, Beterbieve is with Top Rank & another promoter, both would want great pay,& that would've been a ****** career decision for any fighter to go from Kovalev straight to Beterbieve/Bivol after just having fought at mw & there still being tons of far more lucrative, far more fan having champ fights at smw(on no planet would a fighter ever have done that, can you admit that much?)

Especially considering that Canelo had only fought Feilding at that pt at smw.(he was said to have been ducking lineal Smith)

I'll say this, if Canelo becomes undisputed at 168 and Beterbiev is still an undefeated/unified champ by the end of 2022 or early 2023, I think Canelo 100% fights him. By then, Beterbiev will be in his late 30s and will have slowed down juuuust enough for Canelo to take that risk. Good chance Beterbiev will have been in a tough fight by then too. We'll see what happens between now and then.

Beterbieve won his 1st title at like age 34,he might already be easy work for Canelo for all we know, but even though he'll still be considered"old" if they fought next year,I would give him full credit for Beterbieve, beyond that I would agree Beterbieve was getting a bit old.

Every time Canelo beats someone whom he's expected to beat, his fans say he's invincible.
