Anthony Joshua Through Age 31 > Lennox Lewis Through Age 31.

Now I'm not saying that Anthony Joshua will surpass Lennox Lewis as a fighter as I recognize that Lennox Lewis was a late bloomer but through age 31 here are their resumes.

Lennox Lewis through age 31 29-1 (Loss to Oliver Mccall). Former WBC Champion. Beat Razor Ruddock, Tony Tucker, Tommy Morrison, and Ray Mercer

Anthony Joshua through age 31 24-1 (Loss to Andy Ruiz) Current IBF, WBA, WBO champion. Beat Charles Martin for the IBF title, beat Wladimir Klitschko for the WBA title, beat Joseph Parker for the WBO title, also holds wins vs Alexander Povetkin, Andy Ruiz (Rematch got all 3 titles back), and Kubrat Pulev.

Anthony Joshua through this age > Lennox Lewis through this age pretty clearly

You're leaving out Lennox's wins over former world heavyweight champion Mike Weaver and former world cruiserweight champion Ossie Ocasio, first of all.

Second of all, Joshua's best win was against an aging Wlad who was coming off a loss and an 18 month retirement. Joe Parker has accomplished nothing since he won a majority decision for a vacant belt and Charles Martin won his belt by default when his opponent blew out a knee. Kubrat Pulev is a never-was and Povetkin was an aged fake champion. The Regular belt is not a real world title.

Lewis beating Ocasio, Weaver, Tucker, Morrison, and Mercer is a much better resume in a much deeper era.

And then, of course, Lewis went onto beat Shannon Briggs, Evander Holyfield, Hasim Rahman in the rematch, McCall in the rematch, Mike Tyson, Vitali Klitschko, David Tua, Henry Akinwande, Frans Botha, etc.

Those wins are no better than AJs. Wlad even at that age is better than those guys. Most of the contenders are similar level if not better for AJ.

Mike Weaver was 41 years old and was champion 11 years earlier. Ossie Ocasio had lost 4 straight fights. Wlad is better than any Lennox win up to that point. Lennox shouldve lost to Ray Mercer in my opinion and was fighting him off a loss to Holyfield. People are just too hard on Anthony Joshua

Mercer is better than Andy Ruiz Junior, especially at the time Lennox Lewis fought him. Morrison an Ruddock very dangerous fighters, especially Ruddock Stylistically.

Frank Bruno was also way better than Pulev and Povetkin, at the time Lewis fought him etc.

AJ had a good start to his career definatley but I think he peaked early and won't be around all that much longer.

Seems like a ****** thing to compare to be honest. Joshua's done more than Dempsey though.
