Saunders deserves ridicule over the stoppage.
Not because he "quit", but because he conducts himself in an obnoxious, deplorable manner.
He is a jerk, so it's understandable why so many fans are relishing Saunders' comeuppance.

Good article on the whole, though I think you're on rocky ground at best to speculate about any kind of correlation between Gatti's wars in the ring and his murder.

Saunders gets no sympathy from me, he’s an arrogant sleeze ball who was antagonizing Canelo all week as well as the mexican media. Not including his out of the ring antics he enjoys doing for his kicks. All week all we heard from bjs and his team was his gypsy heart and Canelo had never fought someone coming in to win with the heart of lion. At the first sign of adversity he quits on the stool. Go back and watch the replay of him sitting on the stool. One of his teams whispers into his ears and bjs nods his head no. Mark tibs then stops it. He quit when the going got tough which is the complete opposite of his prior statements and actions.

Of course it was the right call by his corner to stop the fight. BJS is getting a lot of flack because of all the trash he’s been talking, including all of the things that he has done or said in the past. He is being held accountable for all of that.

            Blahblahblah

He had another eye and all that skill. He could have used his skill and momentum to cruise and avoid anymore damage.

              Rightfully so.

If you're going to talk trash and act a certain way, you better back it up.

The fact that he said that he would continue to boxe with TWO eye sockets and hi jaw broken is VERY relevant as to why WE machos have wish him to continue fighting with ONE of those injuries. He disrespect a pro fellow and boxing with his dumb saying. If he goes publicly and say that he regrets saying this and that it was a dumb thing to say, then yes, I’ll respect BJS, but for now: F*** him.Capture d’écran, le 2021-05-10 à 12.18.25.png

BJS may have made a smart decision to quit but he is also a hypocrite who talked all kinds of chit about dying in the ring and talked chit about other fighters quitting. This is no different than when he said Canelo should have been banned for life from boxing for his positive test then when BJS himself tested positive oh that was different, it was an accident, the rules were unfair, blah blah blah.

BJS is a massive phag and I am glad we wont have to see him again.

Spot on. This line though is an absolute gem “It’s reason I hate the sport that I love.” - Boxing is the most unforgiving sport and most of the fans are really just casual fans.

Anyone who understands proper boxing body mechanics, leverage & velocity, had no problem understanding why Saunders couldn’t go on.
He also got tagged by a left hook on the SAME spot after.
There’s a look on a mans face when he’s hurt. Saunders has a good poker face but when he got hit twice to the same spot. He looked like he was in shock instantly. Cause he was.
