I think a match with roy... would be a good one he will get revenge easy... and will add a "shot" but still good name .... damn... roy's last ppv really ******... so we have to assume that those over 400K he did with tito.. .he didnt have to do n othing with it?
anyway... what else can he do??? do u think he should push for a williams fight.. i know paul aint fighting him @ 170 .... adamek & dawson will not represent $$$ for him.. and at this stage thats what hopkins is looking for !Comment

how is he SHOT though? That word is soo over used....explain how he is shot? Cause he isnt as fast on his feet @40 like he was when he was 26?
Roy is one of the most talented boxers ever to lace up gloves....he can STILL fight...and im not fooled by the Sheika or Lacy fights...but in no way is jones SHOT...he has defense, he can still punch with accuracy and speed.....SHOT? I dont think soooooo he comes in fights in shape and ready to fight...
Can he beat the Top LHW? IDK,...but he is not a "SHOT" figthterComment

Not only that HBO is willing to put up money for these fights whereas I don't know how much money they would want to put up for a hopkins/jones PPV being that they are on a budget. The money will never be right for all three parties to agree on.
It looks like HBO will put up the money for hopkins/adamek in January and hopkins will get his nice 60/40 split. As long as jones complains about hopkins promoter fees (or golden boy whatever) this fight will never be made.Comment
