Oh lets see, the guy was invinsible for his entire career then gets KTFO by Tarver, KTFO by Johnson and beat to a bloody pulp by Calzaghe. Three guys jones would have beat in his prime.

So in the last 5 years Jones is 0-3 against Elite fighters.

Lets not start bashing PPV buys, when BHOP Pavlik did 190k and they didnt even put BHop Joe on PPV

This fight isn't going to happen, the numbers can never be right for all three parties. Jones knows this which is why I think it's bs for him to keep talking about it. He knows he wont agree to hopkins' terms and he knows HBO wont put up the numbers in the first place. Jones is talkin just to talk ****.

Not only that HBO is willing to put up money for these fights whereas I don't know how much money they would want to put up for a hopkins/jones PPV being that they are on a budget. The money will never be right for all three parties to agree on.

It looks like HBO will put up the money for hopkins/adamek in January and hopkins will get his nice 60/40 split. As long as jones complains about hopkins promoter fees (or golden boy whatever) this fight will never be made.

Actually hopkins is his own promoter and he is a partner of Golden Boy. HUGE difference comrade.

Are you mentally ******ed? I'm talkin the last 5 years. Jones fought bums (hanshaw, sheika, jeff lacy) and the only times he did fight someone good he got the **** beat out of him (calzaghe, tarver, johnson).

The problem is RJJ wont do 60/40 in hopkins favor. You already know this.

Unless jones says ok to hopkins terms, the fight wont happen. Jones knows this. He is not the man right now, he doesn't have the right to demand anything. If jones wants hopkins so badly, he can take the 60/40 split (no winner bs) and that's all there is to it. It goes both ways - Jones taking 40% will be more money than he made against jeff lacy and sheika combined.

Because he fooled the people in looking good against trinidad. After gettting his ass whooped by calzaghe so freakin badly, you think he's still a big draw? Again man, the jeff lacy fight did about 30k in total buys. If jones would have beat calzaghe the lacy fight would have sold, but he got the **** kicked out of him and people know he's done man.
