Well... from fights that I see? when a fighter wants to continue there is body language, protests... I did not see any of that from sanders. There was no question imo that sanders did not want any more.Comment

How do we know if he did or didn't though? He could just post a picture of himself in a gown & sling. I know that sounds paranoid but I don't think certain people are above doing that, especially if it's something that could basically save their career.
If he does not get any surgery then it's safe to say he did not break his orbital bone. A fighter can't hide the fact that he did or did not get surgery. So if BJS does not get any surgery then we will know that the "injury" was nowhere near as serious as BJS and his team claimed and he quit because he tucks his weenie in between his buttocks.Comment

- Billy Joe Saunders“If my two eye sockets were broken, my jaw was broken, my teeth were out, my nose was smashed, my brain was beaten, I was not stopping until I was knocked out or worse. I don’t agree with a man taking the knee and letting the ref count him out.”

Agreed. It's rare to have a fighter actually say "I quit". Like Willie Monroe Jr against Golovkin telling the ref "I'm done".Comment

Can't blame gypsy for not wanting to continue just think losing ur vision permanently he was being competitive so it must been pretty bad didn't ever bother to object his corner straight to hospital now he knows why Dubois quitComment

The thing is, I bet he won't even apologise to Dubois and will behind "my trainer stopped it" excuse. Kell Brook and Dubois carried on for a few rounds with the same injury.
BJS didn't even ask his trainer for one more round which is what he probably would have given him, he quit.Last edited by Stinger1; 05-09-2021, 01:20 PM.Comment
Dude did not want any more, should have kept his mouth shut about other fighters quitting... then it would not be an issue.
