I'm all for fighter safety in the ring especially when it comes to a fighter's vision. However, since Saunders have been proven to be a known giant prick and hypocrite he would receive very little sympathy from boxing fans. He would go down in boxing history as a quitter.

                    The Mexicans weren't any better

                    They booed the British anathem

Granted, the Brits do that all the time too before international football games but it still shows lack of class

If the Mexican fans are anything like the Mexican Canelo fans on here (rabid annoying f@gs) then I'd say both them and the Brits deserve each other

He didn’t “quit” in the sense that when the going got rough he wanted to get out from under the pressure. He had (for the first time) actually just felt what it was like to sustain a bone shattering sustained lifelong injury - in of all things - his eye. Rarely does a fighter quit - although there are some that do. As knuckle-headed as BJS is with his ****** domestic violence “jokes” and
