LOL, that is what he gets for running his mouth. Dubois had the injury and went in for one more time and had to quit. The first time the BJS got injured he quit.

This guy on Breadman's mailbag called it perfectly. Read the bold...

I been thinking about the mentality of boxers and wanted to touch on BJS and his fight with Canelo. I can’t help but think about how Saunders hauled ass out of the restaurant during the buildup to Wilder vs Fury. I’m not trying to sound like a badass but I ain’t running from no man regardless of size who does not have a weapon in his hands. To me that revealed a ***** in BJS armor. I brought that up to say BJS has been complaining a lot lately about ring size, fans in attendance, etc… All of this a week or two from the fight date. I was thinking before this fight was signed that BJS could and should give Canelo a good scrap but something is nagging at me saying at the first sign of trouble BJS is going to pack it up, take his pay, and go home. I hope I’m wrong and this is a good fight but BJS just seems to be a little shaky.

Did BJS even quit? Granted he knows what happens when you say I can't see, but was it him or his corner who actually called it?

But personal I give no fooks how one loses 99.9% of the time including this one. If someone is better than you & it shows via KO, decision, injury, DQ or whatever the goal has been achieved for the winner & not achieved for the loser. It is what it is. The goal is winning or not losing. The goal isn't to lose in preferred ways.

“If my two eye sockets were broken, my jaw was broken, my teeth were out, my nose was smashed, my brain was beaten, I was not stopping until I was knocked out or worse. I don’t agree with a man taking the knee and letting the ref count him out.”
One day people will learn that Saunders and Fury are all talk. The funniest thing they do is call fighters bums then go and fight a load of bums themselves...and then get banned for taking PEDs.

He quit before the fight. Everyone knew he was going to be taking the money and trying to stay out of trouble so he could lose on points

His corner is making a guess/excuse and the DAZN people are making a guess/excuse and guesses should not be taken as proof. Until he sees a proper specialist then and only then should people say he had a legit reason to quit. And swelling and bruising is not enough evidence to say he broke his orbital bone because bruising and swelling around the eye is a regular occurrence in a boxing match with 98% of the time there is no broken bones involved with the swelling and bruising so based on the %'s it is unlikely that BJS broke his orbital bone.
I’ll take Canelo’s word for it. He literally told Reynoso when returning to the corner while standing might I add that he isn’t coming back out. Reynoso didn’t understand but Canelo told him he isn’t coming back out I broke his orbital. A boxer can feel when they’ve broken something and Canelo was spot on.

You do realize how absolutely ******ed this sounds correct? A single punch that immediately disfigures the eye was a “script.” Did we miss the eye makeup that he smothered over his eye when he turned away?

Theres levels to conspiracy whackos out there and this one receives the full tin foil treatment.

#1 - Soto for the third time in a controversial win, Heno was close a draw or a Win for him, Acosta with seconds left in the 12th round now you have Taka being forced to stop fighting by the REF not a good look for boxing. # 2 - A HW who hits the canvas after walking to the ropes bc of a shot to his shoulder and then # 3 - BJS not even fighter enough to go a minute and try and make something happen in the following round of a swollen eye. Not a great card, not what a boxing card should look like but it is what boxing is becoming. The words "he was on his way to loosing, the fight was already over, it was just a matter of time" let it play out. Ah forget about that is what I will have to do.

That said, I believe both BJS and Dubois did suffer serious damage to their eye.
If he does not get any surgery then it's safe to say he did not break his orbital bone. A fighter can't hide the fact that he did or did not get surgery. So if BJS does not get any surgery then we will know that the "injury" was nowhere near as serious as BJS and his team claimed and he quit because he tucks his weenie in between his buttocks.

Best part of the fight was watching arrogant UK fans get beat up in the crowd. I was at the fight and there were 6-8 fights and crowd was throwing chit at UK fans who were talking mess.
