He saw the uppercut being there on film and he landed it several times, but I think he was waiting for that exact mistake BJS makes when he turns to the left in place after missing a punch. That was a brutal punch. People think a head snapping punch is brutal, but the worst damage is done when the head doesn’t snap back and act as a shock absorber. This was one of those and as soon as it landed the damage was instant visually. I said right then he broke something. And Canelo knew it too.

I jumped up and pointed it out immediately also. I said "oh **** look at his eye, it instantly turned a dark red."

Once they showed a close up in the corner, I knew it was a TKO.

You'll never convince me that he beat Lara or GGG. Again all I was waiting for from Canelo was for him to beat a high quality opponent whose style presented some difficulty for him, bounce back from adversity, make the adjustments and win without controversy. He didn't that tonight so I can't hate anymore. Well, I still think the drug test and his excuses are ridiculous, but forgetting about that he's #1 on my pound for pound list.
