BJS found his rhythm in the mid rounds with his hands low, he could get his shots off faster from there and use his reach advantage on the outside. Most of these tall guys canelo has been fighting cant use their reach for chit. canelo has little t rex arms he has to get inside. I think the tale of the tape only showed an inch reach advantage for BJS, that was way wrong.

The opening rounds BJS wasnt landing chit and canelo was slipping, parrying or blocking everything but fired better from the hip while staying way outside. He was ducking a lot of canelos shots but canelo noticed this and set him up with those uppercuts

It was good to see canelo in some trouble, loosing a few rounds in a row mid fight and being able to adapt.

We had never really seen this from him before, this is what the haters don't realize. Adapting to adversity is what makes the great fighters.

Saunders's boxing skills are grossly overrated. He bites on feints, and his movement was his biggest downfall. Too much ducking low, and canelo timed him with body shots and uppercuts that did him in. I was expecting better from saunders, but he could not hang with the best. He talks a lot of garbage that he himself don't believe and it shows.

If beating stationary targets don’t impress you then just curious as to why you are such a Bud Crawford fan?

Canelo’s resume of fighting different style of fighters is light years ahead of Crawford or anyone in boxing.

Gamboa was a stationary target? Felix Diaz? 2 olympic gold medalists, 1 was an undefeated champ? Viktor Postol who fights behind a long jab and uses a lot of footwork, against who Bud gave up a huge height and reach advantage? Brook and Khan may have been washed but they are not stationary targets. Thomas Dulorme, who just beat Ugas according to most people who scored that fight fairly, and Ugas is a guy you are all clamoring for Bud to fight. But I guess you are just demoting all these guys to bum status now aren't you?

They're all quality fighters, not elite but quality. Just like BJS. I gave Canelo his credit for the win over BJS now why can't you do the same for Bud?

He didn't that tonight so I can't hate anymore. Well, I still think the drug test and his excuses are ridiculous, but forgetting about that he's #1 on my pound for pound list. Crawford has to beat Porter or Spence to take it back.
He beat Lara by like a round.

Stop pretending Lara beat him clearly, never happened.

Tonight's fight Canelo earned his p4p spot for me.

Bud will gain it back on my list if he beats Porter or Spence.

But for now Canelo is #1 and Bud needs to step it up.
Don't most fighters with winning records take on guys who fit a certain style ?

P4P debates should NOT go by ''POTENTIAL'', which is the only way Bud and Spence get mentioned. their RESUMES are suspect AF

How blind are ''fight'' fans ?!?!?!?

That was a brutal punch. People think a head snapping punch is brutal, but the worst damage is done when the head doesn’t snap back and act as a shock absorber. This was one of those and as soon as it landed the damage was instant visually. I said right then he broke something. And Canelo knew it too.
That's when I put down my beer and said he broke something and I gave a thumbs up to the TV and canelo knew it was over

It's not about potential. Resume is about who you beat and how you beat them, Bud beat a lot of great fighters in dominating fashion.
