Yeah, that part! I remember GGG saying he'll fight Mayweather @ 154, but Canelo has to go to 160! I also remember GGG saying he'll fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. @ 168, but Andre Ward has to come down to 164! So I think Canelo is on point, 168 or no fight!

Kovalev was more dangerous than Beterbiev and bivol? The 36 year old Kovalev who had been stopped twice in back to back years , was nearly stopped by an inexperienced Yarde, fighting for the second time in 10 weeks was more dangerous? SMH. Canelo fans have no shame when it comes to assessing him. Be honest, if Kovalev was the same Kovalev who nearly murdered pascal in the ring, do you think canelo would’ve dared to take that fight? No chance. He saw a weakened Kovalev and that’s why he picked him.

You kiddos cant have it both ways. You say Ward beat on Kovas nuts so it wasnt a real KO but then you turn around and dismiss Canelos win bc it was a KO. Which is it ?

But he wasnt KO by Yarde ? Floyd almost lost to Maidana? But he didnt. So whats your point ?

At the time people were praising Kova for his decision and saying Canelo might get more than he asked for because old Kova would take a shorter camp since he was already in fighting shape which is better for old bodies...then history rewrites itself to...Canelo handicapped Kova.

So ring rust only applies to everyone else but not to Canelo.

That's no different from Floyd fighting Canelo when Canelo was 22 or when Pac was 36. It was good timing and management. There's a reason GGG, Charlo, and no other MW even considered moving up to LHW to fight Kova. Too dangerous.

But sure you can go back and say it was clear as day XD XD XD

Bivol ans Beterbiev still to this day have beaten nobody. In the case of Beterbiev its a real shame and basically a wasted career tbh

Well, how in the Hell can one not say that he is cherrypicking when he has all of these young, hungry and undefeated lions in his division like: David Benavidez, Demetrius Andrade and Jermall Charlo? Why pick on a washed up has been like Gennady Golovkin whose best years are now behind him at the tender of 39?

After the 2nd fight, Alvarez said he'd fight Golovkin a third time.
Then he thought about it a little he changed his mind.
