Yeah, that part! I remember GGG saying he'll fight Mayweather @ 154, but Canelo has to go to 160! I also remember GGG saying he'll fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. @ 168, but Andre Ward has to come down to 164! So I think Canelo is on point, 168 or no fight!

Kovalev was more dangerous than Beterbiev and bivol? The 36 year old Kovalev who had been stopped twice in back to back years , was nearly stopped by an inexperienced Yarde, fighting for the second time in 10 weeks was more dangerous? SMH. Canelo fans have no shame when it comes to assessing him. Be honest, if Kovalev was the same Kovalev who nearly murdered pascal in the ring, do you think canelo would’ve dared to take that fight? At the time people were praising Kova for his decision and saying Canelo might get more than he asked for because old Kova would take a shorter camp since he was already in fighting shape which is better for old bodies...then history rewrites itself to...Canelo handicapped Kova.

Kovalev was clearly compromised and that’s the only reason canelo took the fight. His immediate dropping of the belt and statement that he’ll never go back to that weight class only proves that he saw that title as low hanging fruit.

That's no different from Floyd fighting Canelo when Canelo was 22 or when Pac was 36. It was good timing and management. There's a reason GGG, Charlo, and no other MW even considered moving up to LHW to fight Kova. Too dangerous.

didnt ignore that. it wasnt relevant. remember he said he wouldnt fight him a third time after the second fight. now he's willing when ggg is older and at canelo's favored weight. thats where the cherry picking comes in.

After the 2nd fight, Alvarez said he'd fight Golovkin a third time.
Then he thought about it a little he changed his mind.
