But he wasnt KO by Yarde ? Floyd almost lost to Maidana? But he didnt. So whats your point ?
At the time people were praising Kova for his decision and saying Canelo might get more than he asked for because old Kova would take a shorter camp since he was already in fighting shape which is better for old bodies...then history rewrites itself to...Canelo handicapped Kova.
"okay"
So ring rust only applies to everyone else but not to Canelo.
"okay"
That's no different from Floyd fighting Canelo when Canelo was 22 or when Pac was 36. It was good timing and management. There's a reason GGG, Charlo, and no other MW even considered moving up to LHW to fight Kova. Too dangerous.
But sure you can go back and say it was clear as day XD XD XD
"okay"
2. My point about the Yarde fight was to show that he was in a rough scrap just 10 weeks before fighting Kovalev. Hardly any time to recover. Your point about mayweather and maidana is completely irrelevant. 3. While people may have praised Kovalev’s willingness to get back in the ring so quickly , you won’t find anyone with half a brain who thought it was a good idea or thought he’d be at 100%. 4. It’s significantly different from what Floyd did with Canelo and pac because in the case of Canelo, in no sport is a 23 year old at a disadvantage against a 36 year old. It was actually pathetic that the fight was so one sided considering the age advantage Canelo had. With pac, Floyd was older so not the same situation as canelo having a 7 year age advantage on Kovalev. Nice try , matter of fact, no it wasn’t. That was a pathetic attempt to make a point that you clearly failed miserably at.

I’ve read plenty of dumb shet on this site but you trying to pretend that being 36 in boxing is an advantage over being 23 might be the dumbest. You must be one of those borderline ret@rds.
Sports science has developed quite a bit and a man like Ali was completely washed at the same age as Klitschko was still dominating the division.
What happened to Roy I suspect had to do with jumping up and down in weight and then that infamous loss to Tarver, he was never the same since.
Anyhow, if you manage to not take much damage and stay in shape, avoid drugs/alcohol like many of the greats haev such as Floyd Mayweather and Klitschko, you are probably better at 36 than you were at 26.

Sure modern science helps to perhaps prolong your career but do you really think science has evolved to the point that you’d perform better when you’re pushing 40 than when you’re in your 20s? No way. Do you think canelo is going to be better 6 years from now than he has been for the past few years? Not very likely. And this goes for any athlete. Look at Lebron James right now in his mid 30’s, riddled with injuries and all of his contemporaries around the same age are retired and showed significant decline in their mid 30s.
And Bivol only has 18 fights! Plus was saved by the bell vs. SMITH.
So your EXCUSES you've already got printed out and ready to copy and PASTE!

You can't always have it both ways.
I would bet $$$$ that Clown finds different names after Biev or Bivol don't look so good.
I remember reading his earlier posts saying ggg smashes Canelo EASILY
