That's true but that's also the exact punch that knocked Ruiz down.

And Stiverne was 35-36 years old against Arreola, Ruíz just 31 years old..
Stiverne, in his prime was outboxed by Wilder.

Ponder that. Let it sink in. Now Wilder is a dangerous, TNT packed fighter who is underrated for his chin. But... he OUT BOXED Stiverne. Out pointed him. Easily. In 12 rounds.
No Stiverne was not underrated. He was a "B" level HW who won a title which means next to nothing in this day and age of belts and worthless organizations. Arroela is also a strictly "B" level fighter. Ruiz is better than either of those two. Against Arroela he only proved he can shake off a good hit and get over ring rust. But let's not lose sight on reality here.

What is with some of you and these infatuation chubbies for promotional outfits? I believe boxing is the only sport of the mentally stunted that bags on promotional organizations. I think other sporting fans laugh their asses off. Think logically for a moment. Do you hear constant chirping about baseball owners more so than the actual players? Same with the NBA. It’s ridiculously pathetic and funny at the same time. Sure, you heard about Stern and others on occasion and maybe Silver today but that’s it. I’m trying so hard to understand why boxing fans toss off to conclusion over promotional orgs and grand conspiracies while we continue to be the laughingstock of all sports.

No Stiverne was not underrated. He was a "B" level HW

Nope, first of all, Stiverne was that time 36 years old, he was older than Samuel Peter and he won the heavyweight title 6 years later... Peter was that time already practically retired..
We must see in which shape will be Ruiz when he got older...

Stiverne was in his prime better fighter than Andy Ruíz. He sparred with each other and lot of people said that Stiverne seemed to be better.
Wilder could outpoint him because he was too tall for him, but i think Wilder could in his prime knockout Ruíz in 6 rounds.

Stiverne had very fast hands he could hit at least so strong than Ruíz, he had a iron chin, but he could use the ring better, he was a bit more flexibel.

Ruiz has two short legs, altough he did lost many pounds now, but his movement wasn't much better, because his body-type.

Ruiz isn't good. It's just that your fat Tequila drinking gatekeeping ass is just old. Every heavyweight who is ranked in the top 10 or higher would fuck him up.

I always liked Arreola. He makes me laugh. I appreciate his honesty and giving props to Ruiz. NO ONE has ever seen Arreola fight like that. I’d of never guessed in a million years he’d fight like that. He usually blocks punches with his face instead of moving his head. Hope to see u fight again brother.

huh underrated? he did nothing in his career but beat arreola twice who beat nobody himself. talk about overrated. he barely beat ray austin and got knocked out by some guy wit 17 losses along the way as well. are you trying to triangle your way to stirverne being better than ruiz because ruiz beat arreola and stirverne also beat him? while ignoring ruiz beat joshua and stirverne beat nobody. good try.
