After this he fires some shots in the direction where the body fell. If he actually did this he is a monster and deserves the maximum penalty possible.
...you forgot the part where after he drove off, he came back from the opposite side of the bridge going back to Carolina, stopped the Durango R/T, ran across the bridge to where he dumped her off, saw that she was floating, then he dove off the bridge, and tried trying the chords with the cement blocks...this guy was a super predator...I just don't know how he does this in the morning in plain daylight...everybody knows who he is, especially in that area.

all of that said, it doesn't excuse anythinng. it merely adds a layer of explanation to a crime that seems totally senseless to you and i. when you get hit in the head for a ****ing living your ability to make sense of things, particularly those which make you emotional goes right out the window. head trauma is associated with all sorts of violent or impulsive behavior. sex, ********, aggression, violence, crying, you might see it all if you spend a day with a retired fighter on a bad day.

That will be his defense from not getting the death penalty.

There was nothing wrong with this guy, he premeditated everything and carried it out...he was a totally functioning adult, that's why they go thru all types of exams before fights....remember Edwin Valero?
Though he too killed his wife...

The truth is on the streets, they already sent him a message from jail telling him he is as good as dead. Luckily for him, his case became a federal case the minute a car******* was added to the crime. He still is not safe in the federal jail in PR but way safer than in the "state" prison.

I'm not denying the underlying effects of CTE on boxers and what it can do but what's the excuse for all the "non-combat sports" people who commit these same crimes? I don't think CTE had a part to do with it he's young and only had 2 fights where he took some punishment I think he was a point in his career where he knew his future looked dim and he couldn't afford to take care of a baby that wasn't in his plans he has a lot of time to reflect on this now though and hopefully he gets the death penalty make an example of him.

this is the 16th woman in PR this year to be killed. it's a part of the culture. Don't forget Verdejo also had a really bad motorcycle accident a few years ago. Definitely got some brain damage from that.
