Quit you're whining, he looked unimpressive against an aging contender, so did Parker.
    The undercards where more interesting.

Now go eat a snickers, you get cranky when you're hungry.

the worrisome thing is Ruiz saying that he doesn't plan to lose any more weight. He's going to stay at 255. That's 20 pounds too much.

Seems like Reynoso wants him to lose more.

Ruiz lost weight and apparently punch resistance and power as you would expect. Dropped and forced to grind out a decision against never has been grandpa Arreola. No way he can eat AJ punches like snickers in his current state. Ruiz should duck Wilder for the time being.

I've always thought Ruiz would be in danger Vs Wilder due to his lack of head and foot work... That said I Wilder needs mid/ long range and Ruiz could control that with his hand speed and combos.

Until we see Wilder back after his mental breakdown post-Fury 2, I don't think anyone can say for sure what he's capable of... Jeff Lacy was Tyson II until he met Calzaghe, then he turned into Oliver McCall II over night!

Agreed on Chisora Vs Arreola, just not sure there's an audience for it to make sense either side of the pond, that's the definition of a "trade fight"...

Yes, I agree, but the problem is, at 256, Ruiz is still a good 20-25lb overweight!

Disappointed by ruiz's performance. Where is the hand speed? Ive seen something in a couple of occasions but too little to be effective. Besides he often looked shaky under arreola's blows.

While I agree ruiz won, IMO the judges were a bit too kind with him. More like about a 3 point win. And BTW, as much trouble as he had with Arreola, he will never again have a major belt. Even if getting down to proper weight. Joshua 1 was just a fluke, never to happen again. He'll get a few more good paydays, but will always come up short vs the Furys, Wilders, Joshuas etc. Just my 37 cents worth.

Andy Ruiz is a freaking joke. He's not ready for the big time just yet. He struggled against a 40 year old washed up career bum. He's lucky that Arreola has gotten old and lacks both the stamina and hand to eye coordination of his youth or otherwise, Cris would have knocked him out tonight.

He needs to trim off around 25 more lbs. I liked the fact that he came to fight. He got hit and kept coming. If he moves his head more he will beat Wilder. I'd like to see the Joshua trilogy
