LOL at people thinking Arreola won this fight or was he even close. Some of you guys really be on one when scoring fights. Ruiz CLEARLY won this fight. AT BEST it was 115-112 but like 117-110 to 116-111.

Andy squeaked out the win but looked ineffective at times and was dropped & hurt early by an over the hill veteran with a bum shoulder. Trimmed down or not, he still looked like a fat snickers eating pudge, and ate too many from a slow jab, this performance doesn't send ripples thru the heavyweight pond, fast hands or not.

Next step? Rematch with Parker, the underachievers of the division.

He had some ring rust and ran into an inspired Chris Arreola.

I liked that he faced adversity, made some adjustments with Reynoso, and boxed very well the rest of the way.

good to see Ruiz back after a long lay off. The scores were fair. It was not close. Arreola won 1 or 2 rounds, but he showed with the knockdown, he still has something to offer. For me, it was the only round he won, but he had a case for round 3 as well, but nothing else.
