I fully respect Canelo as a future HOFer and current p4p king. But your prime vs Floyds prime doesnt make sense; youd be 20+ lbs heavier than him....of course you'd win. His prime was probably south of WW (or at heaviest welter), your prime is apparently north of MW.

Also, and just being honest, who are the best fighters Canelo has fought in their prime, it seems as if most are past it by then. Honest question, who are his top 5 wins against fighters in their prime?

I don't know if you saw Floyd-Chavez, both in their primes, at 130. If Canelo was Chavez, fight would've been less competitive. I love Jesus Chavez. That's Floyd's prime, or Corrales.

That's one of my all time favorite Floyd fights. He had to visibly dig deeper and fight. George Foreman was so impressed with Floyd that night.

Who looks good against skilled boxers, except a more skilled boxer? Canelo is not the most naturally skilled or athletic boxer. He got to where he is by hard work and mental toughness. Would you really expect Canelo to say that prime for prime he would lose? Have any of the top fighters ever said that prime for prime they would lose to another top fighter from another era? Did Mayweather say that he would lose to Sugar Ray Robinson when asked? Did he say, "Hell no I could never beat a prime Ray Robinson"? Top fighters believe in themselves, even to a fault.

Trout who lost to canelo did better vs Cotto than canelo did. Maidana and Cotto did better vs mayweather then canelo did. I actually think Derveyenchenko did better vs ggg than canelo did and rosado actually did just about the same vs Jacobs as canelo did. So it’s not just about skill. Canelo mainly looks good vs basic plodders. As far as your comparisons with mayweather and srr, those are hypothetical matches. Mayweather actually fought canelo at 36 and schooled him. And canelo didn’t stop at saying he’s win, he went a step further by saying mayweather wouldn’t want anything to do with him. That’s why he sounds ridiculous.
