And the most overrated heavyweight currently on the scene is....

Hasim Rahman. Or should I say Hasbeen Rahman? clip of that here

This guy has kept in contention by getting in what amounts to a lucky punch against a fat, unfocussed Lennox who was laughing in his face before it happened (and breathing hard due to the high altitude) and that was four years ago.

After that Rahman went five fights before winning one. He's got big reach (82") and a hard right, but this is a man who lost to Evander Holyfield in an era where everyone's beating Holyfield. Hell, even Holyfield's postman gives him a *****-slap these days. He also legitimately lost - despite his refusal to admit it - against the grab master, Ruiz.

Now everyone's hyping up his "comeback" because he TKOed Kali Meehan in four rounds? Hell, Danny Williams - a guy routinely derided on this board and absolutely destroyed by Klistchko - TKOed Meehan in 32 seconds. Continuing this analogy, Williams's original opponent post-Tyson was Oleg Maskaev... a man who KOed Rahman in 8 rounds.

Rahman is credited with skill he simply doesn't possess due to one win in 2001... and in April he will be blown to bits.

Most overrated is Ruiz, he has no skills beside strong hugg and stamina.

How about brewster-ruiz not too find out who is best, but to find out who is worse.

I think Danny Williams is the most overhyped fighter.

His most notable battle: A knockout of a Mike Tyson shell.

To be honest, I don't think any of the current heavyweights are overrated.

The most overrated fighters today are:

                    cotto,hatton,calzaghe

imo Mesi is overrated a bit but not anything like the aformentioned 3 names.
