I can see why it would make sense for Haney though, to take on a risky fighter like Garcia would be better than remaining stagnant like he has financially speaking.I just dont see what benefit Garcia has in risking a fight with Haney. I say keep the course and fight like 5 more top 10 guys to continue building his skills and brand, THEN cash in on a title fight. Respect to Teofimo for going straight to the top guy but in the end, he didnt really make the money he should have, his own promoter doesnt want to pay him what he deserves, AND he is stuck paying all the fees for holding on to those worthless belts. I dont see the profit there.
But, Lopez opened the door to big bucks when he defeated Lomachenko. He's screwing up the opportunity to break into PPV by refusing to rematch him. I mean, he shocks the world by defeating a guy in the running for best P4P, then refuses to rematch him citing that he disrespected him and his pop? If anything, one would think he'd want revenge for said "disrespect", while making bank doing it. Fans would eat that up and drop $$$ to see it. Lopez is a fraud who doubts his own ability to repeat a win against Lomachenko and is making weak excuses to avoid him.

I don't think Teofimo doubts his ability at all. I mean he took on Loma at such a low price, PBC bums get paid more for fighting top 50 guys. I think Arum, who is known for stealing from his fighters, didnt want to shell out the cash and thats the bottom line. Arum won't even pay Crawford appropriately. Yeah the fans would want to see it but why would he fight Loma again when he ALREADY is holding Loma's belts AND he is getting paid more on Triller for fighting Kambasos than he got paid for Loma. It doesnt make sense business wise. Same for Ryan Garcia. Why fight Haney, who no one outside of boxing knows, when he could fight on his own promotion for more money?

Lopez almost immediately said he would never give Lomachenko a rematch because he was disrespectful to him and his his dad after the fight. Pure duck. Triller! Garcia is a flash in the pan at this point. We'll see how he does against Fortuna.

I dunno sounds kind of haterish.. Like, imagine calling a Lopez a duck AFTER HE BEATS Loma.. Lopez begged for the fight and was the underdog throughout the whole process. Not making a whole lotta sense..

You know, Lomachenko said he fought Lopez with a hurt shoulder. That explains him taking the first half of the fight off. How do you justify Lopez's refusal to give him a rematch?. As a fight fan, do you not want to see it?
