Gutter scum Claressa Shields is now the latest in the long line of American fighters who have chosen to bring race in to things. She has labelled Savanna Marshall as a "great white hope"

I never saw Marshall v Shields as black v white, I did see it as Brit v American, or Brit v Duck seeing as she is likely to price her self out of this fight but for some reason the Afro Americans always want to drag it down in to a race thing.

Is there a psycological reason for this? Some fighters need to mentally picture their opposition is the enemy or evil to give them the drive in training. Is this how some Afro Americans choose to focus their drive? Do they focus on the colour of their opposition? We all remember fighters like Wilder and Hopkins making it about the black man beating the white man.

The whole "great white hope" thing makes no ****ing sense these days. 4 of the current top 10 p4p plus the consensus no1 HW are white. But apparently Savannah Marshall, a womens boxer that nobody gives a **** about is the great white hope lol.

In the grand scheme of things it isn't, she's just trash with a big mouth. But she is another African American who seems to of focused on colour and I'm wondering if she uses the colour of her opposition as motivation.

No she's claiming that Eddie underpaying cuz she's a woman, she's had plenty to say about Eddie even though he isn't her promoter and pays his female fighters alot more than Shields is getting paid by her own. She don't say a bad word about her own though. She is just deluded gutter slime.

But she said something about ending the next great white hype meaning Marshall. That's a term that hasn't been relevant for 40 years but in her head it's clearly still very much a black v white thing.

At this rate its only a matter of time before she puts on a 40lb costume in the name of black power and then gets embarrassingly demolished in a fight.
