Given she was a replacement at 3 days notice because her previous opponent's coach tested positive for COVID I don't think there was a lot else they could do. There isn't a lot of depth a those weights to start with.

Eddie Hearn has openly said Claressa Shields has demanded ****** money to even consider this fight. Already pricing herself out. The funny thing is, Eddie also said, live on air, that he is willing to agree to Shields' financial demands. So let's see what happens. Savannah Marshall just wants to prove that she is the best, she is no-nonsense. Hopefully, Shields doesn't find a way out of the fight.

Shields is the A-side, so am expecting her to want to make offers to Marshall. But am sure with Marshall having a promoter who is powerful as Hearn, she/he wouldn’t mind making her offers from Marshall side too.

Yes it’s a big fight and she would want good money, as long as she isn’t unreasonable. I don’t want to see those American stereotype mentality here.

Everyone wants to see the fight. I don't dislike Claressa Shields. But she's gone from saying "Win a World title and we can talk", to trying to dismiss Savannah as an opponent. Here's hoping the money talks.

"they want a lot of money, but I’m prepared to pay them," Hearn said." This says a quite a bit, and let's hope that it is enough to get Shields to sign ASAP.

I am not impressed by Savannah Marshall's skill set. Claressa Shield's work rate would make all the difference in their bout. Both Marshall's work rate and punch output are just too low for Shield and in addition, she is there to be hit.

Shields doesn't really stop people, so I think Savanah makes it to hear the final bell and drops a decision to Shields.
