Lmao @ this. Yeah its so unthinkable that someone that extensively trains wrestlingmight actually be able to take down someone who has absolutely zero takedown defence. And of course Mike also somehow has the ability to close distance so fast that you cant even throw kicks at him, I mean he obviously trained the **** out of that specific skill back in the day....

MMA for all practical purposes didnt even exist when Mike was in his prime. He literally could not even conceive of an opponent that brought that kind of skillset. He was also small for a HW and a prime candidate to get kicked or kneed in the face.

But muscles don't equate to adequate wrestling. LOL I've learnt that myself the hard way. Ngannou has suspect cardio as well. As said, how many KO artists in either boxing or MMA tend to last that long. Both are martial arts, if KO power mattered so much then the current top end of the division wouldn't look the way it does. Its like fight fans never learn and the same lessons keep being taught.
Muscles don’t but strength does. I know it’s not the same but I’ve been out muscled more than once in BJJ by practitioners that weren’t as technically good as me.

Francis’ conditioning is terrible. All that muscles means he gasses bad. He was looking exhausted after the first round even though he was clearly trying to persevere his energy.

Jones fight will be interesting. My gut feeling is that Ngannou KOs him.

Thats fair, its a 55/45 fight for me. I see Jones outsmarting him and winning a tough match.
