its simple. in order for mexicans n mexico to think of you the same as them you have to not show off by thinking your the **** because your from the usa. and you pretty much have to act like them as in liking the same kind of events, music, you have to listen to the same music and be current in the slang they use overthere too. you have to be close to mexico as in have family in a state where your parnets are from and pretty much act like thats your hometown too, because you treat it that way.
when i go to my dads town in jalisco the dudes player hate cuz all the girls watch me cuz im from somewhere else. but i dont act like the ****. i start to talk to people and they like me cuz the way act is humble.
For boxers, you have to give a good interview in spanish and talk just like the people from mexico and dont be phony cuz they can tell, chris arreola almost has it, he just has to brush up on his spanish. AND another thing, im tired of these ****s using the same intro music as in vicente fernandez and tigres del norte. someone needs to use,"LOS ORIGINALES DE SAN JUAN" THE SONG "ANDO BUSCANDO UN CABRON PARA PARTIRLE SU MADRE" IF CHRIS USES THAT OR VICTOR ORTIZ AND THEY WIN THAT FIGHT THAT DAY, THEY WILL HAVE A BIGGER MEXICAN FAN BASE.
GOT DAMN I WISH I WAS A BOXER. I WHOOPED ON ALOT OF PEOPLE ON THE STREET. I KNOW I COULD HAVE MADE IT.

When it comes to boxing... Mexicans could never accept a guy like Sergio Mora.
As Mexicans we expect Boxers to be warriors, ultimate gladiators, and we do not typically like anything less than this, meaning "boxers".
It really doesn't even have to do with Race. We love humble warriors!!!
Mexicans have loved foreign fighters like their own because of their warrior style. Names that come to mind, Tyson, Ali, Arguello, Napoles, Ultiminio "Sugar" Ramos, Trinidad, Cotto, Pacman, "the Proffesor" Nelson, the list goes on and on. Mexicans prefer the agressive fighter that doesn't talk the talk but walks the walk.

So in other words we have to act like something that we are not?Get the **** outta here!We are who we are and we are proud. You guys are the ones trying to come over here not the other way around!

If something you guys should start acting like Americans, and embrace this great country! No but you guys bring the Mexican flag and disrespect our American flag and ****.Then you wonder why you guys are not accepted here.I wonder how people over there would react if I was driving around with a U.S flag on my car, and marching in the streets with one.How would they like that?

I agree on the humble warriors thing but humble in what way? Because Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, JC Chavez were not humble at all. They talked a lot of **** before and after their fights. JMM is humble and very professional, I've never seen the guy talk **** to anyone.

It's called boxing bro, not brawling! That's fine if they prefer brawlers it's their choice. But they shouldn't reject Mexican or Mexican/American fighters that choose to box instead of brawl. They should support them equally.

And sometimes those so called"humble warriors" are hypocrite. They portray themselves as being humble in front of the cameras but in real life they are ****ing arrogant.Especially J.C.C.He gives Mexican boxers a bad name. And Morales too, I went to the Vasquez/Marquez I fight, and we asked him for some autographs and pictures and the ****er shunned us off.On the other hand Mario Lopez, a Mexican/American was very friendly and polite and he took pictures with us even though he is more famous then Morales.

Just cuz you r dumb ass has no connection with your mexican side. Why dont you take that mexican flag out of your pic and just leave the american one cuz mexicans do not want you to represent them in anyway.

Morales and MAB only talked **** to each other they never had big mouths, besides that. JCC was extremely humble, he was always loved by Mexicans, he would always sign autographs and take pics with his fans (basically being humble) he started getting crazy really late in his career but that was because of all the drinking and drugs he got into.

But that's not what you said in your post, you basically implied that we have to act like them in order to be accepted by them.Like we can't be ourselves in order to be accepted. Why can't they accept who we are and not expect us to act like them? It's like they want to be accepted the way they are, over here, but not do the same when we go over there.

And you don't know me so you can't say if I have a connection with my Mexican side or not.I speak perfect Spanish and I have some family in Mexico, although it's in the border town.Maybe that's why I don't see it as you do because when I go to Mexicali, they don't act the way you just described.

And no, I won't take the Mexican flag out of my signature.I'm actually proud of my Mexican heritage, but do not agree with illegal immigration or Mexicans hating on us Mexican/Americans.

Funny how some of the Indios talk **** about Mexican Americans but yet they are just as Americanized. Some posters on here are proof of it.

I love the U.S. and Mexico. I love the history of my people. But I hate these racist Mexicans who think they have the right to choose who is Mexican. Oh you're not full Mexican cause you were born in the states. Well guess what sherlock....does that mean you aren't full Mexican either cause you have Spanish blood??
