Is Cloud a real challenge for Dawson?

I think we will see a Johnson-Cloud fight before Dawson ever fights Cloud. Johnson will still be willing to fight anybody even if he gets beat by Dawson.

I'd like to see that fight. It'd be a good scrap. I think a Pascal-Cloud unification fight would be good for the division, and for the fans. Plus, the winner would bring more to the table financially for a Dawson fight, IMO.

Cloud would get picked apart by Dawson and I'm not just saying that cause I'm a fan of Dawsons. Cloud does have a high workrate but his defense is not good at all

Dawson's got a big size advantage. That he can put to use well. But Cloud looks promising and hungry. We'll see. Still too early to tell.

I've mentioned this earlier that Chad gets hit plenty himself even though his defense is above that of Cloud. But I also don't think that Dawson has the power to deter Cloud. We wouldn't even really know whether or not Cloud has a good chin in this fight even if he lost it, because the only way that Chad would win in my opinion is outboxing him.

If Cloud takes Dawson's best punches could he walk him down and win a decision?

Cloud is easier to hit than Dawson, and while he throws more and punches harder, his combinations and punch selection aren't as impressive.

Is he a real challenge? Sure, he hits hard and has great stamina and workrate, but I'd pick Dawson to UD him.

I hope both them become a bit more active though, and face off within the next 12 months. Cloud-Pascal or Cloud-Tarver would be good as well.
