Exactly! He got fat AFTER a win and a big payday....and lost because of the weight gain just 6 months later. Depression though? I'd hardly call it that. He needs to leave the mental health part alone for those who truly suffer from it....he just lacked discipline when he needed it most.
And as you mentioned, they're not telling us his weight now. We were all duped last time and I'm not falling for it this time! Lol
He said that he ballooned up to 310 but he looked like he was 310 when he fought AJComment

He was 268lbs against Joshua at MSG and 284lb for the Clash on the Dunes.
He says he ballooned to 310lbs and must have lost 40lbs. So accepting his estimate is accurate, he's at 270lbs. Not exactly trim. Yes, that kind of weight was good enough to take out Joshua two years ago, and I'm sure he will have no problem with Arreola, but long term, he really needs to watch himself. Big fluctuations in weight do not do good things to the heart and boxing is an incredibly cardio-endurance reliant sport.Comment

He’s weighing 270 according to him (potential lie) and seems very proud of it. What a pathetic professional athlete.Comment

With that said, Ruiz never had problems with cardio in his fights. He is a big boy and comes in naturally with some size. He never had a problem with this until his training habits changed, so in a fundamental sense, the weight was a by product of the problem. A boxer fighting succesfully at a high weight, is not a problem if he is confortable at that weight, and can adjust when he is between fights, and retires. Sumo wrestlers have a similar process of shedding when they retire. Andy can have a career fighting at any weight he is comfortable at, provided he takes responsibility for self discipline and does not go off the reservation between fights. Guy is IMO very talented and could be a legit threat at the right weight for any fighter not named Tyson Fury.Comment

It's amazing that this fat little punk keeps getting a lot of you to feel sorry for him. Or even cheer him on as he continues to be fat and blame it on everything but being lazy. He is a fat chump fighting a fat has been on PPV. Call it exactly what it isComment
