You didn't even click the link.Whyte vs Helenius was for the Silver belt ,that is a title elimination bout in itself not the final because the Silver belt holder has to fight a final elimination bout but he’s in line as long as he holds that belt .
Ortiz vs Whyte wasn’t for a final elimination bout , Breazeale had already won that against Molina ,why would Whyte fight Ortiz if he isn’t getting the final elimination bout he held the Diamond belt which requires a final elimination bout ? You then hit another pot hole on here again as you always do and put up a link of a silver platter earning mandatory status .How many guys earned mandatory status to fight Wilder ? You are also forgetting in a separate instance on a big Wembley PPV Ortiz turned down a date of July 28th 2018 to fight Whyte but fought on the same day against Razvan Cojanu and Parker took it .

Elimination bouts concerning Ortiz were proposed . Whyte held the silver belt so he didn’t have to fight a place for second mandatory spot , it’s why he kept his status . If you knew the rules you would know this and why Whyte fighting Ortiz was not a risk / reward fight for him it wasn’t a final elimination bout .

Who did Ortiz defeat to get his shot at Wilder , the article states Whyte didn’t defeat anyone to get his title shot ? This was the article you said I didn’t read ?
If your saying I’m wrong that means you think Ortiz defeated better guys to get his title shots ? Only one of the inks you posted works. And it doesn't even mention the reason why Whyte turned down that "final eliminator" with Ortiz. It was a final eliminator for the position of "second mandatory", after Breazeale, who hadn't even been given his shot yet. In other words, not a final eliminator at all.
Sloppy journalism like that, plus gullible and/or agenda driven fans, are the reason why the corrupt WBC get away with the bull**** they do.

Ortiz vs Whyte wouldn't have been a bona fide final eliminator. It would have been for the position of "second mandatory", after Breazeale, who was still waiting for his shot at that point. If Whyte had accepted it Ortiz would have turned it down, just like he turned down a shot at AJ after going on social media daring Hearn to send him an offer.
