MMA keeps making the right moves as a sport with the help of the UFC there is no doubt about that. Idk that I'd call boxing a 2nd tier combat sport doe. I think NO combat sport competes with boxing on boxings biggest nights. Problem there is the big nights are few & far between. So MMA is consistently better, but boxing is still bigger at its highest highs. And fook man there is still room enough for boxing & MMA. Hell even the BKFC is looking like it could potentially become a bigger sport that maybe is right up there with boxing in another 2 or 3 decades if they keep things moving forward like they have been.

There are great fights in boxing all the time.
just the other week we had Choclatito vs Estrada.

Mainstream don't know about them though. like i said boxing is a divided sport where everyone has some personal agenda. People are paid to mislead and lie in boxing.

You're absolutely right. I think I've kinda accepted that this sport will never get it together.

I will always love boxing over UFC, but there are big fights in the UFC bi weekly. The top contenders are always fighting each other and the ABSOLUTE TOP FIGHTS are always made. A loss doesn’t mean anything because you can fight your way back to the top and the champion has no choice but to face you again or be stripped. Plus there isn’t 6 belts per weight class. I was always against the government trying to sanction boxing but something has to be done because what is happening at 135 and 147 is a goddamn disgrace to the sport.

We don’t watch mma fights due to someone e having endorsements or IG followers. We watch it because the best fight the best. What problem do you have with that? Or would you rather watch Spence and Crawford fight mandatories twice a year for the next 2 years?

There is a HUGE boxing match with the best fighting each other maybe once every month and a half. Sometimes every 2 months. You get 4 or 5 of those per month in the UFC. lol I like boxing more than ufc cuz I’ve been watching it my whole life, but boxing has become a goddamn joke with all this A side bs.

Well first of all its hard to compete with a private company like the UFC who has a monopoly on the sport and controls all the fighters careers, boxers are basically self employed it's a totally different system.

Secondly Boxing has too many petty little men trying to control their own petty little kingdoms, PBC, Haymon, Arum, Warren, King, etc etc.

When a new entity like DAZN comes in and tries to bring value on a streamlined platform the entire US boxing establishment rallied against them.

Boxing is dying, and the old decrepit American promoters want to keep the status quo.
