    I give Joe a solid A.

He was a great fighter and would have slapped the **** out of Froch.

Not sure why you’ve brought up Floyd for no apparent reason.

Firstly Pacquaio and Canelo were P4P fighters when Floyd fought them.

Hopkins was when Calzaghe fought him but Roy Jones wasn’t in the Top 100.

Thirdly, Floyd has another 15 or so top wins over Top ranked opposition.

        Calzaghe has less than 3.

        That’s why.

Simple fact is Hopkins was an anomaly when it came to age and was still a formidable fighter in his 40’s.

It’s easy to class Lacy as a bum now, but back then he was the favourite in the fight and most people expected him to beat Joe. Instead he got a life-changing beating.

And as for the people scoring Calzaghe a ‘B’, you need to be banned from the forum for ******ity. The guy was EXTREMELY hard to beat due to his phenomenal workrate, ability and good chin.
Incredible work rate, incredible hand speed, incredibly unorthodox southpaw that could take a shot, and and was remarkably slick. He always rose to the occasion, threw punches from awkward angles, didn't have a predictable rhythm at all. Incredibly hard to figure out in the ring. Definitely a generational talent at the weight.

When you can't really think of another fighter that has a similar style to a guy, its generally an indication that there is something very special about them.

based on unifying clean, but no defences of them together, B+ on par with kessler.
            B is acceptable.

you cant give this guy an A when Froch has already left him behind.

gotta be said, joe has the only fans who claim a mid forties man was in his prime (regarding bhop).
even joe is laughing at them after barely scraping through.
