Whyte is a wider than he should be betting favorite imo in what I see is a 50/50ish fight, so the bet is Povetkin although I'm rooting on Whyte for a change.

I hear the latest thread with your predictions is a dousy: Actually I know it is... Lol. You get owned and just try to backpeddle as usual lol. Its like you do bat 100% Just in the absolute wrong direction... thats a skill in itself actually lol.

Povetkin is nearly 42, could have lingering affects from Covid and came to the weigh in needing a bra.
All things considered its a big ask to repeat.

          Whyte mid-late stoppage.

Unfortunately Povetkin did not come to fight this time... see Dan Cov's post below... So we will now get odds based on one guy showing up in shape, while the other... not in shape. Its sad. Most of the original predictions did not consider the shape Povetkin apparently is in.

If I was really going to bet this, I might lay down something in a mid fight KO for the Russian and Whyte a decision. Depending on odds and all... But I swore off betting on boxing because the damn judges determine outcomes imo. So... I done laid some nice scratch on Fury Wilder one, and they call it a draw... Luckily I didn't lay that scratch down, but I learned my lesson on this a while back.

If I had to bet, it'd be Whyte. Neither is a great fighter, but Hunter gave Povetkin all he could handle, and Dillian was giving him the business until the KO, and Povetkin is old as fook....

On the other hand, Whyte isn't unhittable. Wach landed good shot (just doesn't have any power), he got dropped by Rivas, and flat-lined by Povetkin in the first fight. So would it be a shock to see the same thing again, absolutely not...which is why it's hard to pick between these 2 guys.

Brother Mouzone! Upholding the minority vote! One thing is for sure: That punch Povetkin landed was many things, but Lucky was not one of them. He set up Whyte very well and that showed some real chops.

I sure wish Povetkin was at his best. Its a shame he caught the Covid... This fight reminds me of the fight between Vitalie K and Sanders. I was salvating at the chance to see Sanders in the same shape he had been in when he sparked Vlad... But alas he was not... I don't know what his excuse was, but Povetkin has a legitmate reason for not being at his best with the Covid.

I am the only Povetkin vote , LOLz ..................Thank you for acknowledging that it was not a lucky punch , but a perfect executed one . I picked him via KO in the original fight thread , reason was 1) Povetkin's experience I think people forget how seasoned he is 2) One punch KO power, with accuracy 3) Whyte is susceptible to the uppercut . IMHO all these thing still remain Povetkin's advantages going into the 2nd fight.

I cant call this one. I can see Povetkin catching Whyte again, it def wasnt a lucky punch. I can also see Whyte bouncing Povetkin off the canvas multiple times and getting a stoppage. I said it in another thread if I was a betting man my money would be on Povetkin because thats where the money is at. It could literally go either way.
