If Floyd vs JMM sells more than Pac vs JMM that's all that matters. That means Floyd and Pac's 3 common oppenents are in the favor of Floyd.

Why is Roach worried about Floyd? He can't keep his name out of his mouth. Pac vs Cotto will not even hit the mill mark. Cotto is no Tito and Paf is not Oscar. It will probably sell more than Floyd vs JMM. But a Floyd vs Cotto fight will probably sell more than a Pac vs Cotto fight.

Having the fight in theaters will help get the mainstream public to watch it as well. Many of those who never cared for boxing will be curious to see fights on a giant screen among boxing fanatics. It's an unusual occasion.

The 24/7 series will help it gather momentum. But, who knows how well it will turn out?

The promoters are just taking a marketing risk with a different outlet.

If it's successful, you can bet others will follow suit and copy it.

Everyone has their own opinion...I think it will do alright...

He's right about the styles...although Marquez might try to be more offensive...which could be a mistake on his part

            1 - I don't care if it's going to sell or not.

            2 - I don't care if they are counter-punchers.

3 - I don't care if this fight ain't going to be exciting.

I am a boxing fan, and i am going to watch it 'cause:

            1 - I love this sport.

2 - Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez are great fighters.

3 - Solid undercard with interesting fights.

Roach, you are an idiot. But i like you 'cause you are a great boxing training, that is my favorite sport!!!

Fact is: both fighters prefer to counter punch, but when they're facing a fighter that's not coming forward they take the lead. It's happened time and time again in JMM's and Floyd's fights.

Mayweather has gone forward against: Judah, Mitchell, Gatti, Bruseles, Corley, etc.

JMM has gone forward against: Casamayor, Juarez, Barrera, etc.

These are elite fighters that can switch it up when ever they have to, they're not going to be staring at each other. Stop trying to ruin this fight, you selfish prick.

              This is True......

Even if this fight does better on PPV than the JMM-Pacquiao fight it will somewhat make a statement in this economy.
